We are proud and excited to announce the new TAR Studio in Las Vegas, NV. It is something we have been talking about for over a year and finally took the plunge a month ago.

The idea is create a space that will allow us to do challenge matches on short notice as well as just a home in general for all things TAR. We will be launching a weekly podcast as well as relaunching our merchandise store. Now that there is a place for everything and some systems put in place for inventory and shipping we hope to vastly improve on our product fulfillment.

This studio and all of the gear in it will also be available on a rental basis for people looking to create their own content. If you want to make an instructional DVD or web commercials you can come in and everything is ready to go for you. From HD cameras, live video switcher, mics and audio gear as well as all the things needed to make everything work together. All in one place for one reasonable cost.

The studio will not be open to the public but will be available to clients, players and supporters of TAR. We have tried to create an intimate and unique location for the best players in the world to come and play in a completely controlled environment that can be set up just the way they like it. There will be no large groups of spectators, at least in person, and this adds value to the few spots we will be making available during upcoming matches. We are excited to see where this is going to take us

Very nice Justin , hope everything turns out positive , had a couple of questions but they will eventually get answered . Always wondered why some of the smaller casinos didn't promote challenge matches and sweeten the pot and sell the telecast of it.Having diverse uses is good .

Justin, the place looks very nice but knowing you & nasty 1 thing is missing, THE DAMN BUFFET................Best of luck to you sir with this set-up....oh...by the way, did you ask viffer if the room QUALIFIED

Congrats Justin. Hope the new venture is a successful one. Looking forward to the the new room's kickoff event!!

I'd like to see the armrest in your avatar play some on that table. That is, if there's not a "you must be this tall to play" sign on the door. :p (kidding Sarah....we wouldn't want Alex excluded as well...)

You guys are one of the best things that's happen to pool in a long time. Congrats on the new room and I can't wait to see the first PPV.

Very cool set up.

Will there be room for spectators?

We figure room for 20 people or so plus crew. As Sunny mentioned the focus is on the online audience. We decided on a smaller space in a much nicer location instead of a larger one in a not so nice location since the studio will be used the majority of the time for private functions and internal projects.

If we do ten matches a year thats only 30 days or so out of the year where room for a bunch of people would have been used. Basically a lot of money being spent for space we wouldn't use that often. We decided to go with 1200 square feet in a new building instead of more in an older one in a sketchy part of town.

If we get something that warrants it we could put in bleachers and double the spectators or more. I prefer having the vibe of a small private room that the players can feel secure and comfortable in without all the distractions a large crowd presents. It has it's plusses and minuses but we made the choice and we'll see how it goes.

Glad I got to see it.

Sorry bro when you were here I was cranking to get things finished. This has had me on a one way track for the last month. It wasnt much to look at last week. Pretty much a worse version of this:

Well, with such a small audience, Earl can't really complain about people sharking him- but I'm sure he'd get upset at somebody anyway

I can see it now ... monthly polls in AZ asking who we'd like to see in the box ... TAR and the players actually getting paid on a regular basis... we getting our fix ... pizza deliver increasing to the point where we start getting discounts by just mentioning TAR ... rail bird$ flooding into AZ to get in on "the Action" increasing our fold ... sponsors coming on board due to the high volume ... new TAR shirts ... me filling my Tundra to the brim with beer from my store and making a "gratis" road trip ... ahhhhhh, life is good!

I am so happy for you and your people Justin, all of us on AZ, and to the entire pool world. This is huge my friend, huge and is what the pool world has needed here in the states for a long, long time!

TAR rocks so hard they give the Rock of Gibraltar the 3 and steal!
