Obviously you are clueless relative to the pricing of custom cues. Maybe you should call Mr. Howard and ask him the price of a similar cue new from him.

He must be very fair.

He has repeat costumers for a reason. One of my friends has done a few cues with them and is always satisfied to say the least.
Very honest people that put you first.
Nick :)

Wouldn't normally agree with Pletho over a cue dealer, but in this case he is correct. Unless Rick's prices have gone up

Nice website though, lot's of great cues

Just another action knocker

I've never known Jaime's prices to be extraordinary.

Just checked out the site for the first time in a while and from what I see, not only has the site grown: the nunber of cues has gone up; the number of high end cues has gone up.

In fact, the only thing that hasn't seemed to go up over there are the prices!!!

pricey?????

If you dont like his prices, guess what.........dont buy from him..But keep that to yourself, because you only make yourself look stupid by posting that nonsense here.
Have dealt with jamie before and he was great to deal with and fair beyond reason. Would recomend them to anybody..Steve

Clueless

Jamie is one of the Best here on AZ. Know what your talking about before you open your mouth. Comments like these are what's wrong with this site and the Good Sellers on here don't need it.

I'm Not Sure Why Any Of Us Actually Reply To These Threads....we All Know That The Thread Starter Had This Attack Planned Before He Made The Post Looking For The Site. My Guess Is, He Tried To Wheel And Deal On The R. Howard Cue And He Couldn't Rob Jamie, And Now He's Looking To Get Even.

Jeez guys, take it easy. All the guy said is the prices are too hig for HIM. Perhaps he's right about the Rick Howard in this market. I don't know myself if the RH is too high or not. Just b/c he voiced his opinion doesn't mean he's bashing anyone. There are lots and lots of people who are sticker shocked when they are new or fairly new to pool cue buying.

I've bought both a Sugartree, and a high-end Blackcreek from Jamie...and was fortunate enough to meet him at the SBE this year. Wonderful gentleman to work with. Jamie deals primarily with high-end builders, and therefore high-end cues. The prices they command are more than justified. Just because they're outside your range, doesn't necessitate the need for a thread like this. That would be like going to a site dedicated to the sale of Black Boar's, Szamboti's etc....and saying the prices are high. It's not like the man's selling Lucasi's, Joss's, Meucci's and Viking's.

Jamie is an Absolute Gentleman

I have had occasion to deal with Jamie and at all times he has been nothing but professional.
If you do your homework you'll find he is nowhere near "over-priced".
Is he not entitled a slight premium because of the quality of his service, his customer satisfaction guarantee,
and the unquestionable quality and authenticity of what he sells?

He has certainly earned my respect.

true but this is coming form the guy trying to sell his one-pocket books for $400 each.

First, IMO, nothing on Jamie's site is overpriced. $950 for a 6 point Rick Howard cue with ringwork and veneers, as well as 2 shafts is extremely reasonable.

Secondly, a posted price on a website or anyplace else is the MOST that a person is willing to accept for an item. Closed, private discussions with the advertisor, ie, Jamie, might have resulted in a slight discount on the price....maybe not, but possibly.

You get what you pay for. Jamie and the guys at new2youqs offer some exceptional products, and at reasonable prices, along with great customer service and a flawless reputation. That is worth a few bucks in any book.

Joe
