A Banger, but trying!
Hello all,
I have been lurking for a while now doing some reading.
Decided I would join in and hopefully contribute now and then and more likely ask a few questions along.

I am a newbie to the sport for all purposes. I have a home table we bought about 5 years ago (due to Son wanting it!). A friend asked me to join a league a few weeks back and I did. Since then I have really been interested in improving my game. I have been doing some reading and checking things out on the internet. I also try to practice at least a little bit every day with some drills I have read about.

Looking forward to learning and sharing in the future!!!

Welcome to the forum. Come get acquainted! We have folks who play pool, folks who WANT to play pool, folks who wish they could still play pool and some who don't give a flip about the game.

There are folks who really enjoy funny stuff. They read the funny gif thread

There are a lot of other funny folks on here, but right now, those are probably the tops.

But, if you're looking for help with your game, you'll want to get really good at hitting the link at the top that says NEW POSTS. Then, you can find threads that will help you find the perfect cue, the perfect shot, the perfect idiot, etc.. (Yep, we have those, too!)

Come on in and have a cup of hot chocolate and settle down by the fireplace.

Looks like you're from the great state of Tennessee...we had a great visit last year...Chattanooga...Nashville...Memphis...

Made a pilgrimage to Graceland...




Took a ride down the Mississippi...accompanied by...oh nevermind...

Live in Memphis and never been to Graceland...that's not right man...

And if you tell me that you don't go any Redbirds games in that beautiful park...???...

Welcome aboard Don. That's OK, I grew up in the San Francisco area and have never walked across the Golden Gate Bridge or been to Alcatraz. I'll get to it one of these days. Maybe when they put a pool hall on Alcatraz! Now that would be cool.
 
Glad to have you Don, as you can see, I'm a newbie myself. I've been enjoying it more and more, meeting the very nice fellow AZB'ers on the board and making new friends. Believe me, you will become addicted to the forum, it is like a brotherhood haha. Once again, welcome and enjoy this great place!
