Best,

I that a JBcase? i look great.

That is an Instroke dealer case. There were a few of them made and I think that maybe Prather or Bludworth had this one. I designed the case.

The tooling however was done either by a master tooler in the Czech Republic or by one of my former partner's friends. I am not sure because it was done after I left Germany.

We made many dealer cases like this out of nappa leather and they were $500.

It's a beautiful piece. I think that the original price was $1500 or $1600 somewhere in that range.

Hi John,
Thanks alot for the information..
It is an absolute incredible case.. I love it..
Whoever did the tooling was definitely a Master..
I'm very surprised at the original price( Must have been a while ago)..
You can find 2x4's going in that range..
I can't imagine someone attempting to make a case like
this at 3x that price...

Thanks,
Ken

I will give you $1600 for it, Ken.....you can keep the SWs:D

Hey my Oversea's buddy,
I'm going to hold on to this case for now..
I appreciate your offer..
I couldn't imagine someone attemting this case again for that kind of money..
If John can make another like this at that price, I would consider buying another one from him. Just don't know who would do the tooling???
Maybe John can get back to us..
Any Barry's left over for me:)
Best,
Ken

Well there is certainly an argument for finding this Eastern Block Master Tooler cause the work on that case is exceptional.

I haven't sold everything, Ken. Just a few select cues. I got PMs from worried dealers thinking I was jacking in cues. Don't worry.....your livelihoods remain intact, he, he, he!!!

Hey Simon,
I was just snooping to see if you were moving Barry's..

Dealer's really PMed you worrying:smile:
Thank God I don't have to rely on cues for my Livelihood..
Take care,
Ken

I was joking about the livelihood bit. Just concerned people that thought it was the end of collecting for me. Still got a few makers on the globe that need to make me a wand before I leave cues. Its nice buying nice cues but its even better having them made.

Hey Simon,
I never had a doubt that you couldn't give it up..
Remember I saw you at Valley Forge..
You couldn't give your cash away fast enough..
Like a kid in a candy store, and we know you have a sweet tooth...
Best,
Ken

We have some super badass toolers over here. Had a true master in my house a few weeks ago. This guy is a legend here.

Check out Japanese tooling on the net and you will some stuff that blows you away.

Also Jiasen has a pretty strong panoramic tooling master right now. We could definitely do more cases like this.
