They are playing in Greece. Shane is playing in the tournament there aswel which starts on the 22nd,

I think you mean 4/28/14 in your OP.

If I'm not mistaken, that would be 11am Central time zone(U.S).

Is the stream free?

what is on the line here... the misplaced commas have me UBER confused

svb's got this

this is gonna be a good one, hoping to see some "packies" from shane if it's streamed or youtubed later

I don't see the big deal here. It's nice they're playing for 3.5k a man, but that's really nothing compared to the 10k-40k they use to play for on TAR. Two guys are matching up for 2K somewhere, someplace every week. If it's going to be streamed, I hope it's going to be free. Johnnyt

those aren't misplaced commas. It is how you write in Europe. They don't use a decimal point. So for your translation it is 3,450.00 per person for a total of 6,900.00. which is 2,500 euro per person

thank you, and please excuse my ignorance, as I truly did not know that.

Great match. Even though Nikos is much stronger than people on this forum realize, it would be hard to bet against SVB. I hope the stream works well and is free.

Wow. Is SVB in the Euro zone by coincidence? I can't imagine anyone interested in making any money flying across the pond for so little reward. More evidence that pool is a tough row to how for those that attempt it.

Having said that, should be an exciting match.

I actually don't think it will be a very exciting match other than the complete destruction of Nick. He is a great player but just is not on par with Shane. I think Shane will win by 20 games or more. I also think we are going to see a 10 pack from him.

And like I said...A complete and total destruction. Winning by 29 games!!! He broke and ran out over 53%!!!!! That Greek was in WAYYYYY over his head taking on a monster like Shane.

Are you on the Psychic Friends Network?

Good call, and it was an amazing thing to watch.

... There was also the fact that Shane ... pocketed 3 balls on nearly every break. ...

Actually, based on Pool-Trax data, Shane made 84 balls on 49 breaks, for an average of 1.7 balls per break. (This includes any balls made the 4 times he fouled on the break.) The distribution of the number of balls he made on the break was as follows:

dry -- 3 times
1 ball -- 18 times
2 balls -- 20 times
3 balls -- 7 times
5 balls -- 1 time

Shane's making a ball on the break app. 94% of the time.

Shane's making a ball on the break app. 94% of the time.....that's AMAZING!!!

Yes, but he fouled on 3 of the wet breaks (and 1 of the dry breaks). So he actually stayed at the table just 43 of the 49 breaks, or 88%.
