Just received an email from Rob and he says no Billiard Club coverage at the Derby this year. Sucks for those of us stuck at home this time.
But to end on a nice note ,,,,,, good luck to all going,win big be safe

AZBilliards will be there....
 
The Action Report will be streaming live free coverage from the action room of the Derby for the entire event. We plan to run the coverage 24hrs as long as someone is there to watch the gear Coverage will go down when we are doing a Pay Per view. More info and the link will be up Wednesday. Scheduled PayPerViews are Jan. 5 Monica Webb vs Sarah Rousey and Jan. 10-12 Chohan vs. Daulton All Around. More info is at www.theactionreport.com

I'm going to miss the TV table coverage. I'll like TAR coverage but I'll still miss the TV table play.

They probably decided not to come because of the mockery being made of the ring game this year which is probably a top seller in years past and is shown at night on the Billiard club network on direct tv. I wouldnt be surprised if those shenanigans had something to do with knowing they will never sell any of those dvds except to a few A@# kissing members.

Really like those ring games do you? Just curious what shennanigans you are refferring to that makes this year a mockery?

Lot of people work very hard to put this thing together...seems a little harsh to slam it for vague unstated reasons.

I think he is refering to the BCN coverage cutting off during the 9 ball finals last year. I know what that feels like from BCN's side and it SUCKS! :D

For all in the know.. Will the Accu-Stats TV table matches be shown on a channel in the Executive West rooms? I heard they have done this in years past. And is TAR going to hook their equipment into that system so the matches can be shown in the rooms? :D

YES ............that might be the reason. I DO LOVE the ring games but i am not going to watch the ring game which used to be a big deal with inferior players who happen to have ( and tell everyone all the time) they have a lot of money. This is my opinion. I know 2 of the players and one is a self proclaimed B player and the other was at the Qlympics and i played him and watched him play many matches and he never won one, now that can happen in a tough field but i can also tell when a person is not a "player" and which he was not. I commend all the people who put in the hard work and i and many love what they do for the game and because of this year all that work seems tarnished. I know most d**k riders will disagree and that is fine i have no harsh feelings for anyone playing and i wish them luck but i think it is ridiculous and so do many people they just wont say because they are afraid of what the AZ clique might think of them. <<<<< i do not.

I will be down there for probably about 7 days total witha split in between and i am in no way a champion ( maybe the 7 behind the high level players) but i will watch the ring game when it is down to 4.

As i said this is just my opinion and i KNOW i will be flamed for it and i can probably guess at least 4 user names who will pop up and i am sorry but just my opinion.

Well you obviously have your reasons. If you are so unconcerned with what all the "d!ck riders" will say/think why don't you mention the people you find so un-talented by name?


I mean if you are such an "I don't care what people think....I KEEP IT REAL!!!" guy just say what you mean.

Oh and as far as the reason the game is not being streamed live....your little theory is 100% wrong. No BCN=No live stream. I will not get into the reasons why there is no BCN.

Bottom line is the game is open. ANYONE with $3K can play. First come first serve. There are many people on this board that could shoot $3K up in the air if they wanted and never miss it. Most people won't because they do not want to risk being embarassed on camera and in front of eveyone at he event. So a couple people you deem unworthy are playing....so now the whole game sucks?

Finally...just tell us who you are talking about. Man up...don't half ass slam somebody from the shadows. After all you are the lone rebel poster who don't care what everyone thinks...so say what you mean.
