Official 2015 U.S. Open Players List<<<<<<<<<

The international stars may be what's spooking them

Yeah, sad but probably true.

Many of those players normally enter the US Open but this years field is actually probably the strongest US Open field in the history of the event and the players listed are probably looking at the fact that so many of the top 50 players in the world entered this year the chances of going deep are not that great unless you are yourself world class.

This is not quite World 9-ball Championships level deep, but this US Open is a whole different level than the event has been in years past.

I wish Wu was coming out to it. With all of the guys from both China and Taiwan it is a shame he is not coming along for the ride.

Toughest US Open 9-ball field I can ever remember, though not quite as deep as a WPA World Championship. There will be no Cinderella story this year.

Several of the giants of the game will finish outside the top 10 for certain.

ohhhh yeah... The internationals are spooking players just like the trolls on AZ had anything to do with Fleming handling the money this year.. That was Skip and the WPA at last years Open failings that decided where to go...
Sorry I was there and that was how it rolled out.. AZ Relevance=0

AZ was huge in 2011.. One of the top 3 voices in the industry.. Now you are a peep or a whisper at best... You want the list of trolls that caused it? or you think you know the ones that made AZ irrelevant?

Thanks to Wilson, Jerry and Mike as well. They could not have done it without you.. Freedom of speech vs Freedom of Speech in a privately owned forum is different.. One is a right..One is dumbassery...

WPA is getting better according to the rankings that don't include US players... Don't ever forget the 2011 WPA 10ball.. Check the brackets and winner... Smart money for the Open is on an American or Euro.. Just how it is.. Jetlag and luck works on both sides of the world....

Field is getting stronger. 25 of the world top 50 by Fargo Rating are entered. These ratings are current as of 9-28-15

I just got my laugh of the morning seeing where SVB is and where KO is who has won not one but 2 world Championships this yr ,, if he didn't win another tourney this yr he's easily player of the yr

Laughable ratings indeed. What is this Fargo crap anyway? Based on what?

Archer above Ekonomopoulos and many other jokes.

Yeah-Using an objective system, they only gave us 4 out of the final 8 at the WPC -total crap!

Wow, great achievement. Like youneeded the Fargo crap to predict something like that.

Any world ranking that has Reyes at #9 or Bergman at# 12 or #Archer at#16 (and loads of other jokes to be found) deserves no respect.

Ok well the US OPEN should be a snap for u then-Give us your top 8 and let's see how you stack up when it is all over.

By the way Bergman has won 85K since the Memphis open-beat Orcollo 4 times?

PS-It's a RATING SYSTEM.

Smart money tends to be realized by the betting trends in the Action Room where people are actually betting money, not in the main forum where people muse about imaginary action and fairy tale odds.

Plus, most American players can't swing $1,000 and lots of backers will dry up when they see the entry list.

Hopefully then the irrelevant AZB doesn't give you any business the next time you come on hawking your endless crap.

It would be nice to see a solid representation of American players since the field looks to be filled with international stars.

Pretty sure most of these guys will get in. I have a feeling that a few players who wait until the last minute may not get in. We had 126 last year and could well fill at 128 this year. You snooze you lose on this one.

It's based on matches played...same as the WPA list....
....Pagulayan is #52 on the WPA list...I doubt there are 51players better than Alex...
....but that is where matches played puts him....deservedly so.

If I'm betting my $ and haven't been tuned in to the pool world...
...I'll go with Fargo....and the more matches played, the better it is.

Wow, looking good even countries like Vietnam sending big team. So Quan is coming back despite an unhappy experience for last year's event....

perhaps the Asian governments made some escrow calls to the WPA.
it's great that Vietnam, Taiwan, & China are coming. and it's great that all players can finally feel confident that they will be paid timely & in full, after all these years. prior, JA was the only one who stepped up. kudos to Pat for taking on the task out of his own pocket. it's a win-win for the event!
