Official Challenge to Rhea

Russ=some kind of a B player. It's a matter of high or low regionally but I doubt he's an A or a C no matter where you go.

The main difference between a C and a B is a B doesn't think he's an A.JC

Real good quote there JC. I think you are spot on with that one.

The better you get, the worse you are.

Wow, poolhustler... You seem very passionate about what is certainly a tongue-in-cheek thread.

Rhea starts a troll thread, I respond in kind.

And I didn't really HAVE to post the video....I figured it was a nice gesture to Charlie to show him that I was just fooling around.

I am not one to hustle much and try to trap lesser players. I play to try to achieve perfection of mind and body, if only for a short time.

Short Bus Russ - C Player

Perfection in BODY??? Uh....:nono:

But after watching you play the ghost? Better than C man, better than C.

Laughing all the way through this thread...thanks for starting it, Russ.

Where do you play in Denver? My "honorary nephew" Matt was passing through there a couple of weeks ago, told me he won a tourney in a place called Felt?
Said he had offers of action, but said he passed, because a sore wrist forced him to play with open bridge only.

He was down in Vegas for the APA event. Not sure how he ended up doing. I was surprised that he remembered me, but disappointed that the crew told him not to play me banks. In all fairness, I really didn't want to play him anything else either. :embarrassed2:

I am in the Denver area, but mostly play in Arvada..

I do occasionally go to to weekend tournaments a bit farther away. I just played in Rawlins, WY a few weeks ago..

I understand what you mean, but when I mention perfection in "body", I am talking more about stroke and stance...

Short Bus Russ - C Player Dammit!

If you are ever down in the Springs, send me a pm, I would like to play you. I can come up to Denver to.

Doug

I thought Russ once said something like that someone better be better than a shortstop if they are going to beat him. Now shortstops are A players, but not top pro speed. Where did all your confidence go Russ?

A short stop is not just an A player, they are the best of all the A players or one of the best of all the A players in the town/city they live in. At least that's my definition of one.
