DON'T DO THAT!!!!!

Vshare is just a platform members use to stream some video content. Someone decided to stream Sky Sports Xtra and offer us a chance to watch the Mosconi Cup. However, it is less than legal  and Vshare may ban this user if they know he re-transmits a paid channel.

So, better cope without a chat than without a quality ctream.

Not Exactly

WHAT???????

No Earl Strickland?????

This is going to be BORING as hell.........

This has to be the most exciting Mosconi Display I've seen from Team USA in a long time. And the best thing is the excitement is all positive. Do yourself a favor and Watch my Team USA play tomorrow. When you see the emotion and passion they're playing with... then come back and tell me how boring it is....

When Archer came back and beat Appleton Hill-Hill yesterday... That was a classic moment I'll never forget. It's not often you see Archer scream like that.... That's why the MOSCONI CUP is so special... LETS GO USA

USA Mosconi Team - Earl Strickland = USA Mosconi Cup:grin:
I miss Earl but, I miss the Mosconi Cup being in the US also.
I wish Rodney was playing but, Dennis is kicking A$$. I had to work early today, from what I heard from the highlights I watched when I got home, did Alex Lely mock Oscars illegal break? Saying, do you know what 1+1 is?Is that why Hatch called him out before dropping the 9ball? Just what I seen on Youtube. Ron

GO USA!!!

Time to go to sleep, it's middle of the night here in Europe.

Hopefully a LONG day ahead tomorrow at the MGM. It's definitely not an impossible task for Team Europe. If they win the first 2 matches, probably against Archer and Van Boening, the pressure will be on Team USA.

Gotta love this tournament!!! I think Hatch and I feel the same about this event, too bad he's American.

Don't forget that Team USA will have Statue of Liberty on their side to boost up their morale too:grin-square:

So I don't have to read 20 pages, can someone give the "who played and who won" break down for today.

Much appreciated.

Matchroom is behind in their updates but here is a link that I'm sure they'll update sometime.

As for today's matches, I can't help you much. I've been gone most of the day and then spent some time over at 1Pocket.org. I gotta get up at 0800 so I'm just going to scan some of the posts.

A highlight for me has been how funny my buddy Roy Steffensen has been.
If every sport had great fans like him, then every sport would have better fans. Or something like that. I'm half slap-happy. He's just a very good sport and funny as heck. VERY loyal as well! :)

A question.

Day 1, Match 4, Game 5, Scotch Doubles Deuel-Dominquez vs. Hohmann-Souquet.

Souquet breaks, pockets a ball, but Europe has no good shot on the 1, Hohmann pushes, USA gives it back, Hohmann shoots again.

Shouldn't it have been Souquet's shot, or do you shoot twice on a returned roll out?

QBall2

If the shot is returned, the player who played the push shoots again.

If Europe wins the next 6 out of 7 matches, I'll eat my hat.

I remember Brookline, but even this would be a taller task.

How tall? Well, let's assume every match is even -- 50% likelihood of a win for each side. In that case, the math says the Europeans have only about a 6% chance of winning the Cup, i.e., the odds are about 15 to 1 against them.

Instead, suppose the Europeans are 60% likely to win each match. In that case, the probability they win the Cup is still only about 16%, or 5 to 1 odds against them.

Your hat is probably safe, but you never know ...........

Hi Roy,
I made a new avatar for you! ;) Good luck to both teams today.

First match of today:

Shane Van Boening vs Ralf Souquet

The other matches will be known when the broadcast starts.

ONLY singles today. I can feel the comeback of the history in pool...

It's right there, hanging in front of the Europeans. All they have to do is to grab it!

Today it's the 5 World Champions up against the rednecks!

If our players win one match each, and Ralf Souquet, the 9-ball machine the last 20 years, manage to win 2 matches, we have made it!!!

THE BIGGEST COMEBACK IN THE HISTORY OF POOL HAPPENING TODAY

USA 9 - EUROPE 11

Marcus, I know they will win, and I've known it all the time.

The players was actually told by Matchroom to let the Americans get some games in the beginning so it will make some good TV.

Now the Europeans will start playing 60 % of their speed instead of 10 %, just to still make the single matches a bit exciting. How did you like the Europeans acting the first 3 days? Acting depressed, beaten etc? I think they all should get an Oscar award.

But don't tell the Americans this, they won't believe you. They think they are in the lead because the Americans are better players.

HAHA - they're funny

It was the schedule for Sky Sports, which means that they will send it 7 PM in UK. That is the same as 11 AM in Las Vegas, I think.
