Oi, Barton...

Funny that this match took place because Lou was being a bully according to John. While that may be true, it's very obvious who's being the bully now.

You know Nick I don't care about your opinion or your ridicule. What you think doesn't matter AT ALL. Other than responding to you on AZB you are totally meaningless to my life. Let me restate that, completely and utterly meaningless. Now that said so we know where we stand....

I did what I wanted to do, barked like I wanted to bark and had the fun I wanted to have in the run up to the match.

Never did I claim to be a pro, never did I claim to have great form, never did I claim to be any more than I am, which is a regular player who has played and gambled for most of my life at a decent level.

Most people that I know were thoroughly entertained by the whole thing as they should have been. Prior to the match I had dozens of people coming to me everywhere I went to talk about it.

I got a lot of play out of it from a marketing perspective and I got some respect for being willing to bet that high. Seems most players our speed, and that includes you, don't have the nuts to get up and bet their own or someone else's like that. Lou did and I did. You did not.

So save it. You have been critical of me and ridiculing me for years before the match went off. You wouldn't have stopped no matter how the match went and no matter how I promoted it beforehand. Nor do I care whether you do or don't stop and what your reasons are.

I know I played bad and that's unfortunate. Was a possibility and became a reality. Lou stayed cool and although he didn't play good either he came with some very good shots and generally the better moves. I got beat. That's how it goes sometimes.

Still....I played, you watched, because YOU don't have what it takes to do what and Lou I did. In my opinion that is. So I was the man in the arena and you remain the critic.

"Our Speed"....easy there big guy. Your short about two gears at minimum.

Nick

I humbly request a match up between John and Nick.

Now brother I would normally not let you down but I've tried in private and based on the crazy train I saw with Lou I just don't have the energy.

Nick

Having the nuts mean betting what you cant afford to lose. Obviously you could have gone much higher. So you got advertisement and sales from the match. Did you break even on your bet or make money. Not really showing the nuts. Did you not except the raised bet because then you would have been losing money?

If all else fails then I will certainly go to the room he plays at and try to make a game.

Let me save you a trip: not happening.

Lou Figueroa

When I am ready to escrow the full amount I will make you a formal public offer.....And I will come and find you in St. Louis and ask you in person should you decline.

John, considering your position of being an exceptionally vocal opponent of trolls and trolling, perhaps the most outspoken on all of AzB (with the extra heaping levels of opposition being dished out at the the type that follow posters around), for consistencies sake you might want to reconsider your taking part in, or even the threatening to take part in, the far more extreme and much more invasive real life version of "trolling" that happens in person--the one also known as "stalking".

Hey, I'm playing Lou first.

If I win. Lou tells me about Project Blue Book.
If I lose, I owe him 2 girls and a Hot Tub.

Apparently "having the nuts" has a new definition... Having the nuts used to mean having such a clear advantage that you shouldn't be able to lose... As in Bartrum spotted them the nuts and then proceeded to shoot them off....

Playing for more than one can afford to lose was usually referred to as stupidity, a case of dumbass, or degenerate behavior....

Do you prefer the woofing to the actual match ups? Amazing what the pool subculture is teaching these days.....

The old saying in advertising and marketing is that I know 50% of my ad budget works but not which half.

Anyway the larger point is that we did the dance and that chapter is done.

Two months later people are still starting threads about me playing for 10,000 dollars and my advertising is seen some more. You figure it out if that's beneficial or not.

For me it was and is. Winning would have been better but I know what I did wrong to diminish my chance of that and so the lesson was learned.

Sorry but it's not stalking to go to a pool room and ask for a game.

Lou can say it's not gonna happen but who knows.....One of St. Louis millionaires might put him in the box. No harm in asking if I happen to be passing through.

I don't do ballads. I will write my story when I am ready to write it.

By the way I have almost 20k sitting here, when can we make game #2? I will be on the road until probably September. Sometime after that would be great. I'd like to play 10 ahead for 20k.

You think about it and get back to me. A friend might want to put in another 10k as well.

We can park all the money in a six month CD jointly owned if you like. All the money will be put up in advance this time.
I would suggest you play in Phoenix on this tight Diamond instead of those buckets, it is roughly 4 inch pockets. I will live stream it for free and Mlalum won't have to fly this time. Frost can commentate.

Works for me.

What part of "not happening" are you having trouble understanding?

If I'm the one saying it, which I am, it doesn't matter what *anyone* else says regardless of how much money they have or how much they might want to put me in the box.
