Olathe Ring Game Payout

Backer is in a $2000/$4000 poker game.

That has to be the "Big Game" at the Bellagio. I will make one prediction. The "Backer" will lose money.

The "backer" is a very well known player, but not Reese or Ivey. If you are a good detective, you might decipher who it is from knowing he is originally from Iowa and you might say he places "billions" of bets.

Tournament

I was talking with Will Prout today. (he has helped out Dan with the tournament) He was telling me how well this was going and there was no reason to think they couldn't do this 3-4 times a year. I think it's great. The money breakdown is good. (especially with the lack of pro events) I hope this generates a lot of interest. I think the format was very creative. I am sure the side action is quite entertaining also.

I hate it that I had no chance of getting there. :(

Tanner who is this guy in the blue jeans and dark blue tanktop playing against Harriman and Deuel in the ringgame? Is that Townsend? This guy is an incredible player.

He strung like 6 racks together real quick, and something like 5 of them he didn't have a shot! Jump-caroms, cross-table banks at real funny angles, etc. Very entertaining player.

Yup thats scot, we have the line ups on www.theactionreport.com
Not all of the players have pictures next to their names though so I can see how questions like that could come up...I was wondering too.

I am tracking the standings so I can provide some insight into how the players are moving about the leader board. I am trying to post this info on TAR, but the creation of my account is hung up in e-mail hell. As long as the TAR guys don't complain (I'm using the information they so graciously provided to all of us), I will continue to post my little summaries on AZB...until my TAR account gets created.

Mike Banks continues his stand at the top of the leader board (with $8000). SVB & Orcullo are continuing their slow accumulation of $$$. They are now tied for 2nd with McMinn (with $6900 each).

The strongest mover at the moment is Townsend, who moved up 6 places to 3rd.

Parica is hanging by threads (with $600) and Kiamco is getting short (with $1800). The rest of the field was pretty stagnant for the last hour.

Eight of the nineteen players are now out.

Who is this Mike Banks guy? He looks like a teenager. Did Billy bet on him against McWhorter before the ring game started, or after he started to take the lead?
