Old, rare Blackboar for sale

[Nuts4Tascarellas]

In a previous thread the members of this forum identified this cue as very old, rare, and in great shape. I have had it since 1990. It was made in 1988 or 89 according to the staff at Blackboar.

The cue is an FS -3 with ebony and real ivory inlays. Irish linen wrap and birdseye butt with 2 shafts. One is 13 mm and one is 12 mm. Everything rolls arrow straight together and apart.

This is one of the earliest cues in the Blackboar line. You won't find one like this anywhere else.

May I suggest E-Bay to run an auction on? This is a for sale section on a billiard forum where persons are supposed to say how much they want for stuff.

I didn't set a price - I responded with emails about a value that I was told. I didn't say that I had to get that either.

I am just going to take the highest offer.

The reason I did it this way is because the thread went crazy last time I put a price here. Everyone ran their mouth and started setting values - which is not allowed here.

I didn't report it to the house pro - took it on the chin. I'm not tolerating it this time.

This is NOT an auction site but a Billiards forum. Go to eBay if that is what you want. Keeping the price is definitely your business but high bids is not what this place is about.

Thier are 2 values of a black boar ,, the market value and what the black boar owner thinks it is ,, in most cases there is a big differance in that number so its probaly best to go to flee bay

www.cueauctions.com doesnt have any ivory restrictions...

also on ebay, its fine to sell things with ivory.. you just cant spell the word ivory or the filter will find it..

You are wrong again.
Many cues are sold on ebay with ivory, check yourself. Plus, there are many ways to avoid it. You can clearly state in description that ferrules are made of i**ry. Everybody do it.
If there is a will, there is a way.
But instead you are trying to pull a trick here.
Please go to ebay or state the price clearly.

Of course it is. You just can't spell "ivory" in the ad. You have to spell it "iv0ry so the ad doesn't get pulled. Most of the Schon's on eBay right now have ivory in them. Just do yourself a favor and put the cue in the gallery and ask what the current market value of the cue is, as we have a lot of knowledgeable ppl on high end cues like yours here, then put it for sale... WITH A PRICE.
