Hopefully the mods will take care of this.......

36 posts and 17 are in this thread, what's your other username?

I think this means you are officially a stalker, congratulations!

I think this person might be a little jealous for sure.

I did have a conversation with Tim about 2 bad racks that I broke. Any player that plays at my level or Tims level know if they hit the balls well and if they just moved like mud something wasn't tight. I complained to him about getting the balls tighter after that because we do rack for each other in this tourney.

His reply was : You can't get them perfect. My reply was you can definitely get them tighter than the last couple. So I stood over the rack after that while he racked the last couple for me. I never said he cheated. for all I know he was racking as good as he could. But I have an inkling that if we racked for ourselves my breaks would have been much better. Just a thought.

I think this stalker is a little nieve to say the least.

This was back in January. Tim is a friend of mine and maybe he racked them as good as he possibly could. I shook his hand and wished him good luck. He got to 7 before me in the 9 ball. He won. Simple as that. He played better than me. Tim is a real good player. So is his brother Rick. Nice guys both of them.

I had a knee replacement 2 1/2 months before this so my chances of winning this were pretty slim. I could hardly walk. I love this tournament more than any in the world. That's why I went.

Had surgery on the other knee one month before that.

I had a tumor the size of a tennis ball removed from my thyroid a month before that. I swallow with half of my throat now and sometimes the food gets stuck. It was real tough back in Jan.

Tournaments today should all be rack your own. They do it like this at Secos tourney, rack for each other because that is how they have done it for 30 some years. And once the rack is removed you shouldn't be allowed to touch the balls. Push this one or that one a little. Many players do this and it should not be allowed in rack your own.

Joe Tucker's racking secrets is a great big eye opener for sure.

Oh, and I got bit up by bed bugs the night before the sat tournament. Itched like crazy and hardly got a few hours of sleep. That was real fun for about 2 weeks until the bites healed up. Plus all the work I had to go through to rid my clothes and suitcase, computer of bedbugs.

I should have gotten a trophy for just showing up, the shape I was in.

Bottom line is this hidden person behind the computer thinks they need to tar and feather me forever because of what they think?

Please get over what you think. Sometimes we're better off keeping our thoughts to ourselves instead of putting them on a national forum.

2nd 3rd or 4th hand info is pretty cheesy also. Or maybe they made a assumption by what was observed during our match.

And whoever him is, referring to this other person I'm accused of calling a cheater, I have no clue.

We all need to check every rack in a rack for each other tournament. It just isn't in the best interest for your opponent to get them perfect for you.

Look, you only played two players who could have been considered young. One was Tim and one was Jesse. You said they tried to cheat you. (making the bottom two loose on purpose) These are both stand up guys who do not cheat. You called their honesty into question which is b.s. How are you confused?

And yes you are the only person in the world who has had medical trouble or bad luck. You do deserve a big trophy. What is wrong with you?

You obviously don't know much about pool and hate me for some reason.

I'm putting you on ignore. Go bother someone else.

More fun tonight............

Going to the Monday Night Shooters 9 ball tournament.

This is growing each week with new players coming all the time. I recommend that anyone that wants to play in bigger tournaments from time to time come and play in this one or if your in another state, play in the ones you have there.

These are great for your game and you focus. The only time you can practice focusing in a tournament is when your in one. It really doesn't matter if it's a real big one or not. A final match is still a final match. These will get you in the right frame of mind.

Many local players don't hardly play in any of the little local tournaments but need to. these are your workshop.

This 9 ball race to 5 at Shooters in Burnsville has been going for a long time. Years. And they add money to the pot.

There is a break and run pot and also a break pot. The break pot right now is up to around $1000. If your name is drawn you get to break a 9 ball rack. if you make the 9 ball you win the pot.

The entry fee is only $15. Allot of fun real cheap.

See ya all there...........

"Subject to opponent's inspection of course."

ALL TOURNAMENTS should be rack your own and the 9 ball doesn't count in the bottom two corners. It is not only a fair way to treat the racking problems in pool, it is the BEST WAY TO HANDLE THE RACKING PROBLEMS IN POOL.

I've had GREAT PLAYERS tilt the rack on me but I let them know, "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me." Now they have to live their lives knowing that I know they are a cheat. They only get one chance with that move.

Oh and some players do cheat, intentionally, in case you don't believe it. :shocked2::shocked2::shocked2:

Had a great night.......

Some days when your a pool player start out pretty simple and then they get more exciting.

I started out at CR's long running Friday night tournament. Tonight it was a race to 3 8 ball. I won that and played pretty fair considering my tip is kind of a mess. it was a $15 entry fee so I net an $85 profit there. Not much but lots of fun and get to shoot in a tournament situation.

Left CR's and as I was heading home I called my friend Herman at Shooters in Burnsville and asked if there was anyone that would like t play cheap sets. He asked everyone there an Chase Plumley stepped up and said he would play.

I thought maybe he was thinking of maybe $20 sets but when I got there he said we could play 10 ball, races to 9 for $100. Pretty good amount for what I thought was going to be a cheap set.

But I did notice that this kid, Chase, played pretty sporty in the last tourney we played in. And I heard that he is capable of playing real good when in tip top stroke.

I win the first set. The next one went to the hill. Chase won.

We started lowering the race to 7. I won the next one and Chase held right in there winning the next one.

I really don't know how many sets we played but we started at around 1:00 AM and got done at 7:00 AM.

Finally we're dead even for the session.

We decided to play one last set for $150.

At this point I felt like I had nothing left in the tank, The last set I was missing some easy shots. But I hadn't had a session like this where I played until I felt like I was going to drop for a long time.

This is where you get that deep down gut focus. When you can get it there it will carry over to your not so wore out game.

I ended up winning the last set but played pretty good. I actually broke and ran 2 racks in a race to 4 only to miss the 10 ball in the second one.

But I'll tell you what, Chase Plumley has my respect for sure. jumps up and plays me. Also looking for a tourney for the weekend.

I told him before we went home that we could have our own 2 man tourney right here in the Twin Cities tomorrow so when I wake up i'm going to give him a call.

Who knows, I might even show him a little Perfect Aim magic to make him even tougher.

This young gun showed some real heart tonight.

If you read this Chase thanks for the great workout. This is what a player needs if they are going to get the feeling that the cue is part of the arm.

it don't get any better than this.

He's already there and in action...........

I don't know how much he slept but Chase is right there at the pool hall matching up with someone else.

I'm gonna head down there if for nothing else to watch Chase in action.

Might get to play some more but that's not my main mission. I'd like to help this young guy get better. He really loves the game for sure and has the desire.

trying to make things happen one way or the other.

I don't get any better than this...................

Chase was playing my practice buddy, kevin....

kevin is my go to guy as far as practice. I give him a big spot and play almost every other night for $20 a set.

Chase usually beats Kevin but is unaware that Kevin has been playing with me allot and I've even showed him a little Perfect Aim.

I sat and watched as they went back and forth. Finally I talked to Chase and he said to me, Wow this guy never played this good before. Chase was fighting with everything he had to stay even.

Finally they raise the bet to $100, race to 7 nine ball.

Chase won 2 sets in a row. Kevin went over to the ATM and got the money to pay the sets he lost.

Kevin walked right up and told Chase to call it.

I left to go to the gym to work out so I didn't see the last 2 matches but I called my friend Herman that works there and he said that Kevin won 2 in a row.

I think kevin would have beaten Chase the other sets but just played under his skill level because he wasn't comfortable with the money. He usually plays $20 to $50 sets.

Then again Chase might just ran out of steam and played under his skill level.

Whatever happened they broke even.

They had to pay table time. Shooters wins again:).

It was fun watching these young guns battle it out for awhile. I watched about 6 sets.

it was real evident that Kevin was doing what I had showed him just a few days ago.

Can't wait to get the scoop from both of them tomorrow.

Great fun today..........

Just got up in time to make it to Two Stooges for the 9 ball tournament.

I won that but the good news was I got drawn for the break and run. Each ball was worth 115.00.

I broke and made the 6 ball on the break. After that the 1,2,3,4,5 and then I quit. Would have had to shoot a combo.

We measured the pockets on this table and they are 4" wide at the mouth.

That's pretty tough.

Then I went to Shooters and practiced until 3:00 AM with a couple of friends.

Then it was off to Lifetime Fitness. Just got back from there and getting ready for bed so I can do it all over, whatever might happen, at Shooters in Burnsville, Mn to play in their Monday Night 9 ball tourney.

Pool is better than ever before. it don't get any better than this.............

Also squeezed a Perfect Aim lesson in today also.

Player in the Twin Cities that was at Smokin Aces........

I guess there was a player at Shooters yesterday that was at the tournament at Shooters last night.

Can't wait to see who it is. might be action.

Playin pretty good. Have to throw some money at them and see what happens?

I sure hope everyone out there in their home towns has as much fun as I do with their pool.

If not get out there and play in your local tournaments. I've been in so many different states and poolhalls with my travels.

The fun is there, you just have to go out there and get it.....

False alarm, no road player tonight......

But it was still a good night.

April Larsen is back in town and for a 15 year old player her game is pretty sporty.

She comes to the Monday Night 9 ball tourney at Shooters and just goes to work beating many of the players.

She had me on the ropes 3-0. She played fantastic. I ended up winning the race to 5 but had to play a lot of safes.

This little gal will be a super star in the pool world in the very near future. So much talent there.

Hopefully Ryan will bring back his sons Sam and Ben for the handicap 9 ball at Shooters on Wed.

This is where it starts with the kids.

I can't say enough for the coaches these kids have in the junior leagues in Minnesota. Many hours of dedication for sure.

With programs like this it's no surprise that pool is getting bigger and better than ever before.

And then there is Kendra, I hope I spelled it right. I don't recall her age but she gets rolling also sometimes and is unstoppable.

Last Wed there were 32 players for the handicap tourney. I think there will be more this Wed.

This sure is fun seeing all these young guns strutting their stuff on the 8 footers.

It don't get any better than this.........

Had some siezures Tuesday night......

Just started feeling better tonight at the local 8 ball tourney.

My vision is kind of bad for a few days after having these but gets better after a couple of days.

I can't imagine these kids that have these during the day and night. Mine are only at night that are violent and last about 5 to 10 seconds each. When I have one during the day it's very short with my eyes just roll up for a second. And that might not even be a seizure.

When I first found out about them at night I had one about every hour.

That was 2 years ago and they started from a car accident. In Peoria, Ill got hit from the rear by a drunk driver that actually left after they saw I was walking around. hardly knew where I was at or what was going on .

They were driving a jeep Unlimited, metallic brown.

I can't participate in the break and run any more. The owner tells the better players that they can't buy tickets. I really don't know where his cutoff is. I won 1600 about 3 weeks ago and he told me afterwards that I couldn't do it.

I do play in the Friday night tourney and you do need 3 weeks to do the break and run.
Another local pool hall has a break and run also on Sat and Sunday. After I won 690 last week they said I couldn't do that one either. I won 490 about 5 weeks ago.

I tried to make a point that I think I spent more than the money I won in the last 5 to 6 months. I usually buy 30 to 40 worth of tickets.

I'm pretty sure I'm either stuck a little, even or maybe a couple hundred ahead. I really don't know but I feel bad because it is kind of exciting.

The better players always seem to getting the worst of it all over.

Many tournaments with divisions at casinos aren't even worth going to when you figure out the room expense, travel and entry fees.

Many handicap tourneys don't have a very good system to figure out who should be what.

I got one question though?

Is there any other break and runs where they exclude players from participating other than needing 3 weeks in the tournament?

I've been all over the country and I've never seen it until the Twin Cities.

Tell me there is others that do this?

Maybe they will let me do the break and run after I'm a senior citizen.

Oh darn, I already am. Imagine that.:rolleyes:

Taking off for Beloit tomorrow..........

Done just about everything I can do to get ready for Beloit but not seeming to play real well.

Going to play down there for a few days before the tournament and leave the computer home.

I'm not sure but I think staring at that screen too long is hard on the eyes. So it will be off limits until Monday of Tuesday when I get back.

Got a couple of lessons set up on Wed and thursday so I will stay pretty busy.

Anyone that is close to this Beloit should come take a look. it's going to be a good one.

See ya all there. ............

On my way to Des Moines....

Taking off to Big Dogs Wed to play in the $500 ten foot tourney.

Don't play one pocket so I'll skip that.

But I will play in the 9 ball. $2,000 added.

Got motivated to get in better shape. Lifetime fitness has become a regular habit. I go at 3:00 AM in the morning, it's like I own the place. Hardly no one there.

1 hour one the bike and 20 laps in the pool. Lost 10 lbs so far and going to keep going. If I can lose 15 more I can eat what I want when I go to tournaments and won't have to worry about blood sugar trouble. I guess I'll still be diabetic but the spikes will be so much less.

But what I really want to talk about is a winning combination for myself as far as cues go.

My Jacoby hybrid that has served me so well had gotten a little skinny over the last 6 months. Funny how that happens but they just keep getting that way when you use a little bit of sand paper.

I got out my old Muecci and started playing with that. I really liked how it felt and had such a solid hit and feel to it. Made the stroke feel kind of effortless. Bob Muecci must have some kind of magic wand he waves over these gems he turns out. I won allot of tournaments with that old Muecci in the 90's but after using the laminated shafts the old maple shaft just had too much flex, so the shaft was out for sure.

Been trying to get hooked up with Brandon Jacoby to get some new shafts, The Jacoby Hybrid, but he's been gone to Vegas and we just haven't got on the same page since he's been back. He's a busy guy and a good friend. These guys do so much above and beyond the cues for pool. Dave and Brandon

I'm going to put the hybrid on the Muecci.

Last night, a friend of mine at the poolhall let me use his older Muecci that has a Jacoby Hybrid on it. Ironically it has a shaft that is the perfect size that I like already. It was like magic in my hand.

Tom is going to let me use this great combo this week at Big Dogs so I got signed up for the $500 10 foot tourney that starts on Thursday at 2:00 PM. Might not win but I'll have a chance to win with this combo.

Also playing in the $20 entry 9 ball, $2,000 added.

Big Dogs is such a beautiful poolhall. One word describes it all.

SWEET>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

See you all there...........Up Up and away for some real fun............
