i want to add, that when i filed, my atty (better known as my friend of 20yrs & plays rugby w/ the DA), he filed in Civil Court. BUT. he filed w/ Complaints of EITHER fraud OR misrepresentation - for the judge to determine....

the judge split the difference & awarded treble damages @ misrepresentation. of which, i was happy to give my atty 25% (discount from 33% norm). they appealed & stalled @ 1 yr, trying to break me. didn't work.

and the publicity put them out of business. (AFTER, i got paid) i know she's hell-bent, but sometimes, there's more than 1 way to skin a cat. and you've got a nice START, herein.

This guy really has no clue what I do to pool tables, it must be way beyond his ability to comprehend building a GC or Diamond up to play better than it was originally designed to play. Maybe I should detail the whole process here on AZ so that maybe he'll learn something about fixing up a pool table the right way, and not SCREW your customer in the process, but instead give them their money's worth, with a perfect playing table when I'm done;)

I think its funny, and rather sad, that he would focus on trying to insult you rather than trying to do something about the mistakes he made. Pretty typical deflection, whether he realizes it or not. And the "gay" comments he made....really? Wow. He is skirting a very fine line with that shit. I'm thinking he needs to quit making himself look worse, before he crosses into the realm of disorderly conduct charges.

Oh and btw....his advice about illegally repairing tables is spot on. ;)

Glen had stated that my name was brought up in his discussions with Jerry Fredrickson.

I have never had any business dealings with Jerry, but we used to talk once in awhile because he restored older antiques - some at a very high price.

But for clarification, I stand behind what Glen says - if there was a short coming in the table - then that is what occurred. Glen is the best mechanic I have every been around. I did tables for 20+ years and have seen a lot of mechanics.

Just to set the record straight.

I knew Jerry was full of himself Mark, but he really started getting out of line when he started dropping your name on me as some sort of way of being credible in his dealings.

Well, here's what the stretcher looks like now that it's finished and mounted to the legs with the base frame mounted as well.

There was just no way I was going to set Wendy's table up without a strecher as Jerry would have done had he set it up himself.

Looks great so far, that certainly is a far cry from what you started out with. Im sure Jerry would say "yeah, thats exactly what the table looked like when I shipped it". I suppose you guys oughta take it easy on Jerry, I think he is kinda slow, maybe his parents were related, like siblings, its not his fault, I guess.:eek:

now that i've got more info from Mark Griffin - tell me again WHERE is JERRY? Wisconsin, right? cause my Chicago rep is in WI/MN this week. and my other rep lives in WI....since we're talking furniture/antiques.

i haven't called, bid, emailed yet - cause i've got people nationwide & into Canada - still trying to figure out the Perfect Aim....since Jerry's reading this.

i'm a little more involved than normally.
