About 3 years ago I sold a cue on Ebay with just an "H" on the butt cap for identification. I did not know what the cue was and stated so in the auction. The cue had a lot of inlay work and non-ivory material. I don?t remember what I had the cue listed for, but an ebayer contacted me as the time wanted to buy the cue outright. When asked who made the cue I once again replied that it was unknown to me. He proceeded to purchase the cue from me outside of ebay for an agreed sum. It was also agreed to a "AS IS" state because I knew nothing about the cue. After he received the cue, it was not what he thought it was and demanded his money back which I refused. He told me I would never sell anything on Ebay again which I paid the threat no mind.

To make a long story short, after that sale everything I would put an item on Ebay, I would start to get a little action on my action and then one Ebayer would come and use but it now on all on my auctions, killing any more chances of selling, and then never completing the deal. After re-listing my items the exact thing would happen with a different buyer with the same results. Then if I relisted the items again, buyers would think I was selling the same items to each buyer. After doing some research on feed-backs, the original "H" cue buyer was affiliated with the deadbeat bidders. I reported this to ebay and they said that users could have multiple accounts (based on email addresses).

Now the same things are starting up again. Now after 3 years, why in hell would this start up again. Because the first piece of s**t buyer that threaten my sales on ebay has joined the AZ Forums now. He joined the forums August of 07.
I listed my BlackCreek, J. Price and a nice Schon on Ebay and BAM !!! One ebayer has purchased them all with buy it now. After looking at his feedbacks, he is a deadbeat and the original ?threat maker? is giving him a very positive feedback.
WHAT SHOULD I DO ??? I have a great feedback on AZB. I"m a honest seller dealing with a dumb-ass !!!

Sorry, I had to vent. I"m REALLY pissed off.

Don't offer BIN, block his Ebay ID, block bidders with zero feedback. At least that will make it tough for him.

What is his AZB handle?

What's his AZB handle?
Yeah, how much did the "H" cue sell for? Really what I am asking is how much did this person spend, and then make it his MISSION to ruin every sale you have? This is ridiculous, and yes there are 2 sides to every story, but I know you and your dealings and rep, so I wonder what this other person's reasoning is? Just not cool, and we do not need any more drama here on AZB. We got enough as it is.

Any way to block his bids to continue your auctions on Ebay?
Any way to deny the bids by his friends?

Otherwise, end any buy it nows - just like the above poster suggested.

James - It is sorry to see people do this, and I am not sure if there truly is any way to stop it - other than let the person's name be known around here, and see what happens.

Just a thought.

Just part of doing business. I get bad mouthed all the time by people that have a grudge. I assume this is a hobby of yours and not your real job. Selling cues that is. Understand that the internet is a lot less friendly than it used to be. Lots of lowlifes have learned to use a computer now. Its just a new level to scammers and con artists and outright criminals. You have to deal with it. Years ago it was stolen credit card numbers. Before that fake checks. Before that switching price tages. Its always something when you are in business. Start blocking people, take a break from business. Sell on a different site. Find another device for sales. If its bothering you that much then the a**hole has won. Don't let him. Ignore it and stay professional. Good luck.

Just add every one of his known Ebay IDs AND email addresses to your Ebay "Blocked Bidder List". He can't use BIN or bid once you do that.

Exactly! Block him and block low feedback bidders.

Obviously the buyer felt very slighted from the original purchase. So much so, that he has spent considerable time and effort to make things rough on you. Why would he go to such lengths?.... Either the cue was a complete POS, or he's half a bubble off. Either way, I would have issued a refund and made him pay shipping.

You can change your ebay user name ( or at least one used to be able to), which might throw him off the track.

If you disclose his az name, then you must be prepared for the sh*t to fly.

Well it shouldnt be hard to figure out who it is. There was only one person on here last year asking for id of a cue with an H on the butt.
If all this is true, then we dont need anyone like this here on azb. I'd like to know all the ebay aliases if you dont mind pm'ing them to me so i can block them.

i remember this, but can't remember who it was.go ahead and tell us to save us the leg work.

I block zero feedback bidders, AND I ask ANY bidder with less than 10 positives to contact me first with name, address and phone number. If they don't i simply cancel the bid.

Also I let it be known in the listing that any bid cancellors will be blocked from further bidding.

For me it has weeded out problems.

Hi jjollie,
Sorry for hear about your problem. I am curious if the cue with the H is a Hurricane Cue. Did the H look like the one in the picture?
