At one time Oscar was down 6-3, so he had to pull a helluva game to win that match. Congratulations to Oscar. Way to go !!!

That is great to hear Oscar is a fine youg man, who happens to play pool. He and his Father are a great example just nice-good people. Oh ya they both can play pool.

Not only did he pulled that game from Souquet by winning 10-8 after being down 6-3 in the early stages of the match, he then went on to win against Charlie Bryant 10-4, and now will face Corey Deuel whom is also having a hell of a tournament.

Deuel has won against Johnny Archer 10-9, Tony Robles 10-6, Brandon Shuff 10-7, Shane Van Boeining 10-8, and John Scmidt 10-4. What a tournament Corey is having.

Nonetheless, I always root for my Latin American Brothers. Go, Oscar, Go. May the Pool Gods acompany you.

Thanks for the support everyone! Its really cool to see this...

Corey and I ended up beating balls in the rails all day. I won the rail beating contest :grin-square:

But really, Corey played some good games and was the better player as he won 10-6. Will try my best as always tomorrow and we'll see what happens. Take care everyone and hope to do well. Pze

Oscar,

As it happens I have been catching a lot of your matches on the streams lately. You have been looking really strong. You do have a lot of folks on AZB pulling for you I'm sure and that includes me.

Keep on keeping on!

It's always nice when someone from our neck of wood goes out and win some high caliber matches. It's score one for the home team! :p

Oscar,

Count me as another supporter. After getting thrown to the rail by a "Big Wave" I watched a lot of your performance at the Swanee, and I'm not the least bit surprised to see your strong play continue.

Good luck on Sunday!

I was among those who watched on the stream. Superior play! Top level, all the way. Corey was on fire...may you do well tomorrow!

Go, Oscar. What a great tournament for you. I'll bet your dad is very proud. I remember you at your very first U.S. Open, and you had a GREAT tournament even then. You've come a long way, Baby!
