other hobbies?

OK OK...I'll be for real. Knowing me, knowing you...it's only fair. I like music...can't play a lick, but I know ALOT of music trivia. I can be a returning champion on Rock-n-Roll Jeopardy. I have like a million CDs. I have so many I don't know what I have, LOL.

I like art, though I haven't really created anything in a LONG time. I enjoy looking at art and hearing live music, and yes...sometimes karaoke counts.

Besides that I am lazy. I used to hike alot and really be into outdoorsy stuff, but that has taken a backseat in recent years...maybe I'll get back into it....but then again, I am lazy.

My biggest hobby is obviously goofing off....I do that more than anything.

(Damn! I forgot to mention Marissa again. )

No time for free time

Interesting topic as I do consider most pool players to be artistic and yet geeky at the same time. Creativity with shots/position and linear thinking for the fundamentals. Anyone willing to dedicate so much time and concentration on one particular thing is generally a geek. Course, I mean that in the best way. :D

Hobbies: Pool, play guitar, make knives, make fishing poles, draw, some photography, build stuff, break stuff.. your general muckity muck.

My hobbies: Pool (duh), mountain biking, collecting/playing MTG cards, building and tuning PC's, collecting high end PDA/phones, LAN parties, etc...

It's where a bunch of people get together with their computers and games and play each other (I think)

Oh, Ok. Thanks, must be a generation gap thing.

Jim

Pool is my only hobby. Pleasing my wife is my avocation now.

SJM, I'm impressed!! My favorite subject in college was Comparative Modern Fiction. We had to read two books by American Authors, two by Japanese authors and two by Indian authors (my favorite was Raja Rau). Mishima from Japan was very good too. Too bad he committed sepuku right after the war.

Stupid question...What's a LAN party?

Jim

A LAN party (local area network) is a pc-gaming party where a bunch of people (usually friends) get together under 1 roof, connect all of their computers to the same network, then run the same network-based game on all involved pc's. This lets all players duke it out in the same virtual world with virtual weapons based on real-world guns, vehicles, etc.

I'm attending a LAN party in 2 weeks with 25+ people already signed up.

Here's a picture from our last outing:

When not playing pool or surfing this forum I'm an avid poker player. Other than that I just hang out with friends and stuff as long as I'm having fun.

Besides pool I enjoy donating to charities, like the local tourney on Friday and Saturdays lol. Im just writing a check and leaving next week. O.k. honestly pool, working on cars and attending car shows is what I enjoy. Nascar, NHRA,NRA, NWA oops just kidding, good ol hard rock and roll for this guy. Jhendri2 180 hp isnt bad, but not enough how about 440 hp

Id love a bike, but I know I would be pinning the rev limiter and hitting the highway at 180 mph because I could. Not too bright without a rollcage lol.
