OTLB Rail extension

I may not be understanding this properly, but wouldn't where the two rubber pieces come together cause a rebound inconsistency when the ball contacts that part of the cushion?

Well Weds is pea pool nite and I am doing another tacstrip GC that day also. Better if you guys stop on your way back. Dave is going to help? Maybe you can pickup his set of 1.75 snooker slate at my warehouse for him and bring my set of GC rails and castings on the way back?

thanks John

I'll mention it to Dave and yes he's going to "help" , he's driving a box truck... no touching of tools...:D :D :D The way back works OK, but I don't want you to invent anything new between now and then..:ok:

Jay

well I didn't think he would, He is a good driver and probably triples the miles of RKC and perhaps as I call him, " a walking orafice". Have fun on your trip, at least with Dave who has an IQ of about 180 you will be bunbarded with with even more off the wall ideas then even I can think of, ok maybe NOT. Dave is probably the best guy going for pool, just don't tell him I said that.

Cheers JOhn

That would be pretty hard, as I drive between 80-90,000 miles a year;)

Glen

Wow you do drive alot Glen, Dave probably only doubles that. He really should have been a truck or taxi driver IMO Cheers John

Having new rail liners made for this with the right profile for SS> You can cut them as thin as 1\8 of an inch. I really do love this stuff. I also love Makita hand tools.

The playing surface on your GC5 is out of proportion, it's larger than 50x100 with the cushions being 1 1/2" wide from nose to the finish of the rails, which also means it's no longer twice as long as it is wide, which changes the banks;)

yeap 50 x 100, now you don't really want to talk about playing field dimensions do you?

You're such a sucker John, I was just messing with you and like a fish, you bite hard;):rotflmao1::rotflmao1:You don't care about taking on any mechanic on AZ, only me...:D

Glen

PS. Start going to the gym twice a day;)

I do go twice 3 days a week, there is nice scenery at the gym. Plus its a business expense :-) I am a fish, but not a sucker. Would like to see you curl my level bag, now lets see who bites.

Yes we have a good relationship. But you know, the more we banter, the more my thread count goes up. hahahhahahahahah

Don't repeat this, so far you have shared your methods and ideas, admire you for that. Like I said, you have inspired me. If others shared their ideas I would lllllllike to exploit theirs as well. Reviewing my ideas and methods here have proven to be more than fair game. I guess this is why guys don't talk much.

And I love that little sander YOU told me about(thank you), 100 % right you are about that. Take that sander, a protractor(digital or manual) and a bag of my OTLB rail ext shims and there will only be one reason to do full blown rail extensions. Whoops gotta run.

guess this table doesn't fit the rule, yes it has adjustable slate up and down, and more features at it's best. Have mentioned the name before with no responses from anyone who has worked on one, if you did I will ask you about it so don't try bluffing, what is the city that it was made in is more of a challenge. And for those of you who have worked on every table out there it may not be that hard.

For this one I will send out free rail ext's with free shipping. It was a production table not a one off.

This table really is a joke, a tank and alot of other things. 78 inch wide cloth is not enough for this one.

full size 50 x 100, very close to the ultimate table, just look at the thought these guys put into the design.

Here is a nice side shot, guess I am the only authorized rep for these. Look at the distance behind these corner pockets and how they fit flush, ball return easy to grab. Slates are drop anchored for up and down adjustment. These guys must have been related to me somehow. The ball return is the quietest, the thing is even insulated to absorb sound and I am NOT kidding. Base has levelers on both sides front and back. They even knew not to put a nameplate on the rail and to keep the counters off also. The only thing not great about this table is moving one, slates are 60 inches wide.

WOW, this is so easy, These pockets are 3/8 tighter than before. Contest over, city was West Hartford CT over 25 years ago and still the best table. Actually I convinced owner to go tighter.

Cheers John
