Anyone have an update on Gabe/Chohan match. I jumped through all the hoops and still could not buy the PPV. TAR you're losing money!!! I really wanted to be a customer. Has anyone else given up in frustration with the buy-in process?

i have to admit, im not a big fan of wiseman or frost, but they have done a great job commentating. thanks tar also for your continued efforts.
 
Man! This is going to be a convincing win for Owen. What happened? Did T-rex simply have the wheels come off?

Did you ask for help from the forum. You know that these are systems that you have to understand :-)

Just kidding but TAR had some issues that they resolved. Always ASK on the forum and someone will jump up to help you with these things.
 
i enjoyed the match,but the commenting was not very informative or interesting.it seemed to be non stop self promting blab that ended with an appeal for a stakehorse.

a classless display with critical remarks,if scott does play gabe ,i will be on the other side.congatulations to gabe,and sympathy for tony. all of us who have played any serious pool know what it is to breakdown at one time or another.

I thought there was too many negative comments and too little diagnosis and discussion about the shots and possible shots. The almost constant critical comments about Tony's game were not called for, were not productive and were not helpful.

I did enjoy listening to two top players discuss the actual pool playing and of course some discussion about the level of play is necessary but the negative comments were too frequent and quiet air time would have been preferable (if you can't say something nice....... )
 
Well, I learned a couple of Gabe's moves from the webcast and look forward to the next event...it was worth every penny. I learned that a patient, methodical player (squeezer) can put a offensive player's game to sleep. I think Gabe's game plan had more to do with the results than Tony having an "off day" or two.

As far as the announcers, it's always been a more relaxed forum. They try to keep it clean, but it's more what you would hear in the pool hall than what Mitch Lawrance would approve of. I'll take the former.

I can't wait to watch Jesse Bowman at the ring game.

I watched the most on day two. I liked Ronnie Wiseman's commentary. He has a good voice and is very insightful about the players and what they are thinking and feeling. Scott was okay too, but he was busy salivating when he saw these guys playing bad. :wink:
 
Too excessive heck no

I 've sat with gabes wife during gabes matches (she gets more nervous than Gabe, Corey had me tell gabe 1 time in a 1-pocket match,go tell gabe to relax and just have some fun while playing. He won that tournement. I like the kool stlye he exhibitied- but can Cohan be beat twice in a row-dought it. I lost on chohan, painter wins 50. but troy Koinnkid had a chance tobet with a schon elite-against a thousand, thanks troy for not talking the bet,but the window will be open for the next big match. mark
