Wow, What a beef, All i can is it Phil sold me the cue i'm still waiting, and wish it would hurry up and get here. Maybe try sending money order OVERNIGHT. Now if any is looking for Sugartree almost as nics let me know. but i will tell you, it will cost. Good luck everyone

Why don't you send UGOTDA7 the 50.00 to cover his additional fees above the cost of the cue......You offered to give him 50% (270.00)of the proceeds.....Send him a money order for 320.00....I think thats the least you can do at this point...
 
This isn't my fight, but the facts as described sound like a breach of contract. Just because it happens from time to time doesn't make it right, or legal.

Can't deny that I didn't want to sell the cue. Can't deny I turned down offers. Not denying any of that. Also can't deny that we came to terms, you said your truck was broken into and needed some time to get things right. Was fine with that, while I waited I got more than one offer higher than my original asking price. Told them the cue was yours, plain and simple. Then you stopped answering pm's. So I waited a little be longer, offers that were there went elsewhere in the mean time.

Your right, I shouldn't pile on. Still find it funny that you knew the check was coming from someone, had a tracking number, and got higher offers so backed out of a deal. I didn't care about you backing out of the deal. Just didn't care for you asking me to wait when you had no intention of buying.

My apologies for the interruptions into your thread here Phil...Carry on with it.

Nice try smart guy.

I have many, many transactions not captured here on AZ. I've only been buying/selling/trading cues for about ten years and gone through about 300 cues of nearly all makes and about $200K in deals. I will admit though that I haven't done many lately because I recently got back from a 15 month deployment in Iraq.

But hey, what do I know?

IMHO you would have saved yourself some brain damage and credibility if, early on, you would have stated why you did what you did. The path you chose was wrought with peril. Degrading the chirpers, of which I'm one, will NEVER yield favorable results.

Josh, sorry I even bought up that Classic Cue thread, beside being a stand up guy, from what I've seen you are also very talented.
Nick, I've seen you do bend some laws of physics with a cue ball, beside being the man you are.
