Hello AZ followers
Happy New Year to everyone.
I just wanted to let everyone know that I spoke with Paul Huebler today, He is staying in a assisted living (he told me he got tired of cooking) he sounded great, and we spoke about our last visit, and about a possible upcoming visit. He is in good health, and still going to the post office.

Thanks for this news! A damn good guy, one of my favorites among the old time cue makers.

Glad to hear it, I enjoyed talking with Mr. Huebler, years ago, when I had questions about a cue.
He is an interesting guy; made a pretty nice cue as well!

Good news to hear. Paul Huebler, in addition to being a really nice man, was a real stickler for quality control in his cues. I never saw a Heubler cue that I thought didn't play well.

Thanks for the good word. I don't own one of Paul's cues but have been on the hunt for awhile. I found two Hueblers last year in Cali but passed on both due to the condition (they were both used).

It would be cool to know just how many cues guys like Paul and Richard H have been responsible for.

A real nice guy, I remember years ago talking with him in Vegas. I shot with a Huebler cue for about 30 years.

Have never met him.

But I love his cues! I also have a couple, and can't help but look for more! :D Great too hear he is doing ok!

My first real cue was a Huebler. Don McCoy gave me a hell of a deal on it. I was used to using K-Mart's Miz cues...don't laugh, those were not bad if selected carefully.

The butt finally cracked on me so I use it now for my rake stick on my home table.

When I grab that crutch, I often think of seeing Mr. Heubler at some tourney that I forget where. He seemed like a gentleman to me. May he live well.
