Hey,

I Am trying to help out an older man that is looking to get a nice cue, but doesnt have alot to throw at a cue. He has about $600 to spend, i suggested to him that he would be best off going with a schon.

He originally thought maybe he can see our local cue-maker and see if he can grab a custom that has been started for that money. But i talked him out of it.


So like i said, looking for a schon in the $600 price range.


Send offers, hope you dont mind the delay because i will have to forward all offers to him since he is not on AZ. And i will get back to you with his replies.


The Gentleman is no longer in the market for a cue, he is having a cue built for him by a local cue maker !

What's wrong with getting a new or even a used custom cue in that price range. It may not as fancy as a Schon but should play a heck of a lot better and will hold it's value as well. There out there just gotta find them.
 
Not knocking schon at all because I have owned and loved a couple but, Bryan Fisher makes a really nice custom and you should be able to pick one up in that price range and they play very nice.
 
If his heart is set on a Schon, I cannot help right now.

BUT, if he is interested in something nicer, for less money, then I can help.

Nice Schon

I Steve in have a nice Schon CX-08 $1,120 retail. Cocobolo six point loaded w/ivory.
Like new except for chalk on tip. (played with for about 3 hours)
19.5 oz. 13mm shaft. You can go to Billiardswarehouse.com or Budgetbilliards.com and see what it looks like. I want $525 shipped and if you keep it I'll send you back $25 for the shipping. He can buy a nice case with the $100 he has left. I would post a picture but I haven't learned how yet. Kind of new at this.
