Pepsi Contact Information....

Is it possible to send all these e-mails to the local bottleing company in one e-mail when we get to 100 or so? Johnnyt

Pepsi Please.

Here is what I wrote:

"I believe that most unflavored bottled waters are pretty much the same. I drink a lot of bottled water and usually don't pay much attention to what brand I buy. But no more.

Since I learned that Pepsi is helping sponsor this year's US Open Nine Ball Tournament I have been buying plain Aquafina and I intend continue doing so.

Thank you for your Support of Pool."

Bravo Pepsi!

I sent them a thank you email. I'm really chuffed to hear that they stepped up and sponsored the U.S. Open.

Hopefully the emails will accomplish 3 things....

1) Pepsi corporate will be aware of and pleased with the decision made by the Virginia bottling group. Paving the way for tournaments in other areas to court Pepsi for sponsorship.

2)IF the monies involved in the the sponsorship are not significant at this point.... Barry got the door open and we are wedging it open for him to get a little further inside to see if they might step up for major sponsorship dollars...

3)The ability to link Pepsi with the US Open will allow other industry outsiders to be courted. If PepsiCo has a valid interest then maybe just maybe some other companies have to take a look.

Keep the emails coming....

PepsiCo is like many other large corporations and wants to be contacted at the corporate level. In the past anytime I have dealt with a large corporation the emails get forwarded to the local levels.... It keeps corporate in touch with the local market and keeps the local reps from deciding what corporate hears about both good and bad....

I am not sure if this still holds water but a single email used to be weighed with a factor of 200.... If the AZ community emails and networks out to non-community members.... 1000 emails should be an easy target... 200,000 voices would be phenomenal and well within our reach....

I remember reading something similar to the '200' factor in regards to emails. It had something to do with the customer service formula. I don't know if '200' is still the factor used, I only remember bits and pieces of the formula itself, so here goes......
(If someone can clarify more, please, speak up).

If a customer has a good experience with a company, then they will verbally tell 3 people of thier positive experience.
If a customer has a bad experience, they will verbally tell 10 people of thier negative experience.

An email in a positive light, sent to the company, was estimated to be worth the equivalent of '200' positive experiences.
The fact that the sender would take the time to compose a written account of thier experience, and also locate the appropriate entities to forward the email to, speaks volumes.
Based on the email that the consumer sends, it's more than likely that they will go above and beyond when speaking to anyone regarding thier product.

And anyone in business knows that 'word of mouth' is the best form of advertising.

So all these emails the members here are sending out will have a tremendous impact with corporate headquarters !!!!

That being said, keep those emails comin'.....................

Pull the drop down to comment regarding a promotion and take the time to tell em thanks for sponsoring the US Open 9ball Championship!!
Message sent...I.m pleased that Pepsi is getting involved.

..mind you, they might be getting TOO involved.

When I called our local supplier, he said "Whaddiya wanna do?"
..told 'im that I just wanted to thank them for sponsorship....
..he said "Look, two, hit, and the pick at 1-hole is the most I'll give ya."

good thread, Renfro

Email sent. This is great news!

Now let's encourage players and fans to hold up our end of the deal. We must take the bitter lessons of the past to heart.....professionalism, sportsmanship and integrity will go a long way toward maintaining a healthy sponsor/sport relationship.

Back to the front page.... Will let it slide after a few more days... Hoping we can get more emails generated =)
