FINALLY.
Spidey, you have saved face.
It might have taken you over a year, but still, i'm glad you came through.

There is no way you are ever going to convince me that you can do this accurately and control whitey in the process during an actual game without fouling like crazy, but regardless, you have finally saved face.

LOL. The chucking of the cue as demonstrated by Spidey.
Funniest thing i've seen all day. People should be banging your door down looking for action after this. LOL

Spidey you are off the hook, and have once again risen to credible status.
Flame away! LOL

....chucking of the cue......lol

Is the video gone? I'm getting a broken video link (youtube blocked at my office, so I'm on my Iphone)

still up! CHECK IT OUT!

Hmm. I'm getting a broken link! Guess I'll have to wait until I get home tonight to see.

good you don't have to buy it, just keep your shitty opinions to yourself you douchebag, and since you haven't been posting here that long, make it longer til the next time!

Reminds me of a romantic song by Pancho & Sancho, our typical local Los Angeles style entertainment:

Chris

Ps. It's supposed to be humerous. True story, I saw them live playing classical music. I almost booked them for entertainment at our office party for their guitar skills - until I heard this on YouTube.

Superstar... sorry I didn't post the video myself-- I had to run an errand while the thing was processing.

I can do this very, very accurately... I'll leave it at that.

I'm surprised you still LOL'd me to death after that. I made the video in 2 minutes and got my max on shot #2. If the role were reversed, I'd give you some props.

I know you don't know me, but if I say I can do something.... better go all-in I can do it. Unlike a FEW others on this site, my lizard mouth doesn't get my alligator ass into trouble. It's the other way around for a few others.

Dr. Dave... I'm trying to get better... I really am :)

At first I was semi-impressed Dave. Then I decided to watch again, determined to do so VERY closely. I took a deep breath, and proceeded to put my quasi-dominant right index finger 1/4 inch left of dead balls center on the mouse. Click and shazaam!!! It all came to light. You only got 14.476 diamonds out of your spear chucking gaffe.

Shame on you for exaggerating.

Tate. Very funny video, but I was impressed with the guitar work. The guys really have some talent!

PJ... I think the part that you might have missinterpreted is that your eyes aren't necessarily over the line formed by the edges of the CB/OB (Unless they are thin cuts to either side) The eyes go over the line of the shot, whether it be through the center of the cue ball to a portion of the OB, or their respective edges.

To be sure I watched the part again where Gene describes cut shots. There is no doubt that he describes aiming the edge of the cue ball at the "overlap" point on the object ball, exactly as I described in my review. He doesn't describe or mention any other way - in fact he's adamant that there is no other way. Here's how he himself summarizes at the end of that section:

"Your eye aims with the edge of the [cue] ball, and decides how much of that [object] ball you're hitting. ... That's just the way it naturally is. There is no other way."

I said it in my first post. You're an asshole. Re-read it, mr bwains. Me calling you an asshole certainly doesn't make me a child-- it's me stating the obvious. You are what you are. I think you're an ego maniac with an attitude problem... and you're condescending to 99% of all members here. They're scared to say something but I'm not. Maybe that's why we keep butting heads?

We all get that you do not like PJ! I am not sure where all of this hostility comes from, and I don't really care.

But you want to " go into great detail" about everything that he has done wrong, for him just expressing an opinion. I thought that was the cause of all this mess in the first place! He is not allowed to go into detail on his opinio, but you are? And this somehow should result in one of you not posting anymore?

This is the second time in this thread that you have personally attcked with profanity ( 2 forum violations), and you are calling for him not to post anymore for posting his opinion?

Look, I do not feel that PJ needs me to defend him, I just wanted to point out a GLARING double standard here.

Let's just play nice. All he did was post an opinion that you don't agree with. You have also gotten to post your opinion on how much you don't agree with it. Let's move on.

I don't have anything personal aginst either of you, but you are not proving any of your points by this behavior.

Relax, this place would be soo boring if everyone had the same opinion on everything. The dvd wasn't for him, and many others have concurred with him. There are also many who back it up. If you feel you got everything you paid for, then you are better off for it. I hope nothing but good things for you and your game. :)

Perfect Aim

Hi all, I just got done having a lesson with Gene on his Perfect aim system, Do I think I can now go win the open, Hell no, Am I worse for the wear, Hell no, Gene has a great teaching method, He is very down to earth, Listens and teaches at the same time. Is this video for everyone? Maybe not. But I would not hesitate to take another lesson from him in a heartbeat, I have taken a few other lessons from other well known Instructors and have felt less that Satisfied with the Knowledge that I obtained from said lesson, Some are awesome players but cannot teach and Vise versa. How many Millions of dollers have been spent on get better faster billiard products that were shit, I know I've bought a few.The money for pool cues alone is mind boggeling while some can improve your game, I've seen alot of ass woopped by a house cue. I think the opionion is what America is about but to attack a person just because you don't like there product is just plain wrong. Gene is a great Embassador for the pool industry and we all have a choice on where to spend our Money! TODD

I do not recall anyone attacking gene because they did not like his product. I believ people have been focused on the product and not the person. The original review even ended with good comments about gene as a person.

If I missed an attack on gene, I apologize, but I have seen MANY posts with great comments about gene. Both sides of the discussion have not been focused on gene as a person, but on his product.

The whole topic is titled "perfect aim- a review", not "what I think about gene". I think the thread has stayed on that line of thinking also.

That's fine... but when he clarified on the phone for me, he SPECIFICALLY said the "edge of the shot" and described it just as I did to you. But you are right to say that if we have the confusion going on here, it shows just how unclear his hour long video was...
