Unfortunately I didn't have much time today, so I could only practice for one hour. As I said before, I already found my ideal position per accident a couple of months ago, but I couldn't reproduce it. Well... today I did it again!
At first it didn't quite work when I tried to do what Gene shows in his video. I made cut shots more often, but it still didn't look right. I trusted "the system" and made the shot. It was ok, but not what I wanted. So I went on to the long straight in shots, and again I couldn't find the perfect spot. At one point it looked ok, but not perfect. After about 15 minutes I found out, that I had to do something extra. I had to turn my head more to the left in order to see the line perfectly. I am right handed and left eye dominant, so it may look a little awkward, when I turn my head like that, but it helps a lot! I could play the shots so accurately that I could tell which part of the pocket I will hit. When I get it right, it almost feels like a different game. But sometimes I don't get it right and I have difficulties getting my head in the right spot, and it takes a little time and more concentration to adjust. I think I just need to practice this until it becomes natural. I hope it wasn't just a good day for me and that I can find the spot any day on any shot with this method.
The thing is to understand the idea Gene is trying to teach. The eyes are so important in this game (I'd say more important than anything), and anybody who disagrees just doesn't know how perfect a shot can look. ...sorry!
Thank you for the great testimony. I knew you wouldn't be disappointed. And you know what. It will just get easier and better. The secret is now you will eventually just get the eyes in the right place without hardly thinking about it. I am the luckiest guy in the world to have something like Perfect Aim to help so many players so quickly. I wish I could be there so I could see the rapid advancements that you will be making.
