It won't be happening this year. There is a big tourney in Japan shortly after the WPC, on Nov. 20-25.

The BSCP organization may be a good vehicle for promoting pool in the Philippines, but the drivers of this vehicle today are spewing bad words out of their mouths about Alex Pagulayan. In fact, they are telling untruths. How dare they say Alex was "afraid" to compete in some upcoming events and that is why they could not get a hold of him, as if Alex was hiding. This is rubbish.
Furthermore, it's fine and dandy for those to give praise to this organization if it is their belief that the BSCP is elevating pool in Philippines. However, I ain't ever heard of the BSCP until they IMPUGNED Alex's character. I have heard of Alex Pagulayan LONG BEFORE I heard of the BSCP. Remember, without pool players, there would be no BSCP. This organization should be cultivating the sport, and as well, they should be SUPPORTIVE of pool players, especially one as talented as Alex, a WPC champion.
The BSCP now states they are "HESITANT" to include Alex in any further events of theirs because of his "MONEY DEMANDS." This is an absolute sham job by the BSCP trying to make themselves look like the good guy and Alex look like the bad guy. It is shameful.
I have personally witnessed what it is like to have a pool organization discriminate against pool players. Some folks think these pool organization should be heralded because they are elevating pool. However, when one dictator-like person is at the helm, hand-picking who HE/SHE wants to compete in pool tournaments, not affording the same opportunity for ALL players to earn a living, something is rotten in Manila. In fact, it stinks to high heaven what the BSCP is doing to Alex, and I, for one, am supporting Alex's stance.
BTW, Fajardo, the president of the BSCP, is the one who ignited this stink.

I hope Runout Radio gets the opportunity to interview Alex Pagulayan soon.
Alex will speak from his heart and state the truth. This BSCP representative who we recently heard on Runout Radio speaks with tainted words, much like a politician. He is standing behind Fajardo's decision to can Alex, and now the BSCP has, more or less, stood together as an organization because of the president's poor judgment call.
Without pool players, the BSCP would be up a creek without a paddle. They should support Filipino pool players and not cause any division. The truth will come out soon enough.

i agree and that i have nothing against these business people....i'm in business myself so i know what it's like( in fact I told your buddy fatboy in our private conversation that GOd has given me all i've desired and wished for and so maybe if i wish ( and it's a sincere wish for me) one more and that is to invest on big pool tourney maybe- just maybe God will grant it also---but people like these- make s me think may times of investing...nothing against business and business people( just the injustice that vultures creates).....busines is what keeps this world machinery going i think.....
my point only is that if they use their power( which i think in this case IMHO that they have did by retaliating to Alex), to absolutely impose their will or just to manipulate players..then i think we have a moral obligation to speak -up against such so they'll know that we will not tolerate it and somehow we're a little more smarter than what they think we are....
,,that's why USA( all the way) is so great because of checks and balances....not so in some part of these world..that's why there are still dictators.....not in america (my most beloved)...

That's what is disgusting about the whole thing. And even worst, in the Philippines, they can do this kind of stuff with impunity.

this sports desperataly in need of someone like alex who is so much naturally fun to watch.....
BSCP- on the other hand on their RUN-OUT interview-emphatically states that their mission is to "i quote"- BRING ORDER AND DIRECTION TO POOL IN THE PHIL...i hope they sit down take a deep breathe and take some wise counsel and patch-up with alex for the sake of pool we all love....

It's Guinness job (being the main tourney organizer) to see to it what is an acceptable behavior on the tour. obviously the BSCP took the role of tourney directors which shouldn't be, just by stating the so-called Alex antics. I say that is a first for me since it's the first time that I saw that a representing body is the one that has banned one of it's members rather than the tourney officials themselves ban such unruly player. I would have thought differently if Guinness and ESPN affirmed to the BSCP's statements of unruly behavior.
