Strawberry and Cigar.

Here's my Strawberry picture, taken shortly before he passed. He was at peace with his higher power. I sat on the rail talking to him about all kinds of philosophical topics for several hours. He's one of D.C.'s finest.

Did you know that Strawberry had a small cameo role in "The Wire"?

Well, if we're going to keep it local, here's a cute one of Keith with Virginia's Brandon Shuff when Brandon was just a pup, coming into his game. :)

Brandon was so enthusiastic about pool that he wanted to gamble with the best. It didn't matter what the game or who the opponent. Brandon just wanted to play pool 24/7. After his first trip the Derby City Classic at the Old Executive Inn in Louisville, Brandon Shuff came back a new man. I have enjoyed watching him rise in the American pool world.

This is an interesting shot here, taken at a pool room that Mika used to be part owner of in Pennsylvania. It was on the second floor of a building.

We were at the Super Billiards Expo at the time, and a bunch of us wanted to go see this brand-new pool room that Mika was part owner of.

Mika had his world trophy on display in the center of the room, along with some other of his pool collections. It was quite an eye-catcher for any pool aficionado. :)

Mr. Immonen was kind of new to the American pool scene, but he was well aware of who Keith "Grady Seasons" McCready was, and he wanted his picture taken with Keith. While he was getting his photo taken byh his camera, I decided to take my own photo with my camera. :grin-square:

Look at Mika and Jose now, both newly inducted Hall of Famers. :)

Here's a great shot of Marylander Shawn Wilkie. I've always admired Shawn's diligence at tournaments. He has always been very passionate about his pool game.

One time, we were in Maine at a Joss Season Finale, and it was the night before the big event. All the players were arriving. Keith wanted to get in action. Kid Delicious had just won the tournament the previous weekend in Rhode Island, so he was a good target.

Keith's break was never his strong suit, but Mr. Wilkie's break has always powerful one. Keith barked at Kid to pay some. Danny agreed to play Keith and Shawn, and thanks to Shawn's break, the Wilkie-McCready Team won.

It only hurt a little bit for Kid Delicious. A few days later, Danny won the Joss Season Finale in Maine. He was on a roll in 2004.

Ive often wondered if folks like Keith, Efren, Mika ever get tired of being asked to be in pictures with fans.

Nice to see THEM asking to be in the pictures!

LOL

What's funny about that photo with Keith and Mika is that Keith originally had a long-neck Budweiser in his hand, and I asked him to get rid of it for Mika's photo. But Mika said, "No, I want the beer in the photo."

My photo is one without Keith's bottle, but Mika got a photo on his camera with Keith and his bottle. :grin-square:
