Guys I searched 11 pages and could not find this topic. I really like some of the Tad Tribute Cues being made today. Please post a pic or two.

Thanks,
jdsons

Do a search on Brianna (surprise) and Dave Sutton in the for sale section. I think both have made basic Tad tributes.

I don't recall ever seeing a fancy tribute.

Not a Tribute Cue..

I made this with inlays, in which, all together, may look a TAD Cue..
The Razor Blade Window was going to take too long to make..
PLus, I goofed up on the Butt Inlay Spacing.. The Oval was too wide..
mmmm.... :embarrassed2:

Alton,

That is what I am talking about. Not trying to pass it off as a Tad, just giving a little "love" to a master cuemaker.

P.S. Cue looks great.

Here are three TAD tribute cues made by Arial Carmelli from Martin's site. These cues are available at really great prices and Martin is awesome to work with on a cue purchase. Check them out at www.superiorcues.com

Here are the pictures from Martin's site. More pictures and contact information for Martin are at his site.

Hey Hunter.. is that top one 'Domino' from Ianxmac? I think he commissioned Rich Neighbors to make it. Love that cue!

I really like that brown phenolic cue you posted too Dave Sutton. I want one!

I still have that cue. I made an entire other cue bc of that little brown dot in the buttsleeve above the ringwork. :-/

I wouldn't feel right sending that out like that

Hi Rex,

It sure was. I wish I hadn't sold it!

Dave,

What would you need for that spotty old Tad tribute ;)?

Steve

Great cues men. Keep them coming. Dave I would also like to get that brown cue. Maybe, the next batch.

Hi Ian,

I sold it to a guy that collects on the East Coast. Unfortunately, he NEVER sells anything once it goes into his collection...:frown:. Bout time we talked to Dickie, I guess!

Regards,

Steve

All These cues look great. I remember when Dickies cue came on the market. How I passed that up I don't know. Maybe, I will start a Tad tribute collect. Is that lame?????

Bob,
That is one of my favorite cues ever. I got your email...Thank you. I may, money permitting, contact you after the holidays. As usual outstanding work.

Ummm, why not just get the real thing??? I'm sure those imitation cues, albeit nice, will not perform like a real TAD. I've got a few TADs that you are welcome to try (I'm in So Cal too).

I do own a vintage Tad. It plays lights out. It needs a little work, so I spoke with and hope to see Fred tomorrow regarding it (if I can time the O.C. traffic). First, ordering a Tad is nearly impossible. Second, most of his cues go to Asia. Lastly, I really can not afford a collection of $3000 plus dollar cues. But I hope I can develope options tomorrow. Get on the list ect. I guess you can purchase from J&J. I perfer not going through a middle man. Question: Is a cue a custom if you doen't get any say in it. Weight, woods, style ect????

jdsons

P.S. Thank you for the offer to try your cues. I have only played with one Tad, mine. Maybe, I will take you up on it soon. Have a Merry Christmas.

P.P.S. Do all you your Tad's hit the same?
