Facing this situation at the DCC - it's my shot - the lower right pocket is mine. The pocket I am facing where the chalk is is my pocket.

What shot did I shoot. Can you figure it out?

If you have been practicing CTE, you could have shot the 5 in and then ran out the game.

Don't tell me you shot the combination off of the foot rail. (9B/4B off of the 1B)

Umbrella off the 7 or 3.. can't see which angle is easier to control to get a ball score-able and float down to foot rail.. Getting a ball in scoring position should keep them from trying a long rail since those are pretty congested anyway from the looks of it....

Driving the 9ball into the other stripe and clearing them will buy an inning but it really won't do much to improve your position and you still won't have any threats....

Best I can come up with from this angle... The joys of commentating 1-hole without being able to actually walk the table.....

back cut the 5 ball with low left drew the cueball 3 rails for position on the balls near the bottom rail , Shine on you crazy diamond!

Not that I am any good at all, but I would shoot the 6 ball into the right side of the 3 ball cluster on the foot rail, playing the cue ball to float down to the foot rail (looks like the angle would take it to the long rail first).

6 ball should carom towards your pocket, leaving you with at best a ball close your pocket blocked by a few of those clustered balls.

Keep in mind, though, that I am horrible at one pocket.

The result might run Lou off ...be careful!

Not worried. He already said he and a panel of one pocket experts clocked my game and that they offered him unlimited backing. Still waiting on those backers to come to me with how much they want to invest. So far they are so quiet that I could almost believe they don't exist.

Without knowing the particulars , nothing wrong with the half ball bunt to the ball that's on the middle diamond on the short rail. Just hard enough to get the cb to the rail if the 12? Or whatever it is isn't frozen. From there he would have to come with a bank on the one if he's playing offensively.
Chuck
Guessing you back cut the 6

I believe you shot the 5,10, 1, 15, 7, 3 Domino combination. The 3-ball caromed off of the 14-ball and into the 9-ball, which of course is dead into your hole.

Meanwhile, whitey naturally broke up the 12/2 cluster, with both balls staying in play for you.

Great shot John.

Freddie <~~~ Mr. Fels would would put this in a “Wing Shot” BD article

Or.....

6-ball off the 9/ball / 4ball cluster towards your hole, with whitey banking to the side rail and dying on the foot rail by the 14-ball.

Freddie <~~~ would rather shoot the Domino combination

Bank the 5 between the 3 and 7 leave the cue tucked behind the 2 balls on the rail
