Player Roster 2009 Predator International 10-Ball Championship

Great player list, it's interesting that Raj Hundal is listed as playing from India. I didn't know that he was from there I thought he represented England in every event in his pro career.
 
I'm sure now it is clear that the runner-up of the European championship, Ruslan Chinahov that is, deserves that his name is spelled correctly. It's kinda offensive keeping him named as some CHINAHOU (and misplacing first and last name).
 
They had me listed from Japan one year in some big tournament even though I was born in Hawaii and have never stepped outside of the USA.........except to go partying in Tijuana =)

Indian Pool Star Raj Hundal Joins Dragon Promotions

Chicago, Illinois- Raj Hundal of India has signed on with global events producer Dragon Promotions to be exclusively represented as one of pool's rising stars. Hundal, known as The Hitman, has in a short time proven to the pool world he is a force to be reckoned with. He first turned heads in 2005 when he defeated #1 seed Yang Ching Shun of Taiwan at the World 9-Ball Championship, and then shocked the field as the dark horse winner of the 2005 World Pool Masters taking down veteran Rodney Morris (USA) in the finals. In 2008 Hundal played his first full year on the US Pro Tour circuit starting out the year unranked and ending the year ranked #6.

"Raj has an enormous amount of confidence in himself, and that's going to take him a long way in this game. He never gets down on himself and he has a smooth, fast paced game that fans enjoy watching." commented Charlie Williams. "Plus he has a ton of charm and witty sense of humor that makes people from all over root for him."

Dragon Promotions will be expanding into India in 2009 with events and goal of promoting the growth of billiards there. DP has been highly successful in other markets such as Korea and the United States in producing international billiard events, and has garnered the confidence of industry sponsors such as Brunswick who is investing substantially into India and Asia. Hundal is also confident of India's future and potential.

"Dragon Promotions is a great company that I would have loved to join regardless, but when I heard about the expansion into India it gave me a boost of electricity! My roots are in India and though I lived in London awhile, I've been to India enough to know the sport could become massive there. If anyone can do it, it's Dragon Promotions and I am looking forward to helping the sport grow there as much as I can." said Hundal.

"Raj by far is the most established and most successful Indian player in billards history. His credentials of wins against top players and international coverage is significant, and on top of that he works hard off the table as well. It was a no brainer to bring him on board with us." explained Cindy Lee, CEO of Dragon Promotions.

Hundal will join an elite group of selected players managed by DP that include Mika Immonen of Finland, Rodney Morris of USA, Yu Ram Cha of Korea, Shanelle Loraine of Guam, and top American stars Jeanette Lee, Mike Davis, and Charlie Williams.

Sasha, normally DP invites the players and sends out emails. Each player that receives the email has to confirm by paying the entry fee. This is when the list starts to come out.

I guess Efren, Francisco or other players have not decided yet to participate.

Just my 2 cents on the matter.

Not in pool-sorry. I have even seen Efren's name spelled wrong on the official name card above the table at a 30K added event.
 
I see George Breedlove is in the tournament. I haven't seen him play a tournament in awhile. He says he never practices, yet he has a table at home. I'd like to see him have a good showing, he's one of my favorite players on and off the table. Johnnyt
 
as big a company as Dragon Promotions is, I seriously doubt CW is personally responsible for their news posts. why dont u email them ? maybe they dont believe your spelling is right. :wink:

the thread was started by user koreandragon (guess who). Check the name now. DP.News = CW (also I think it's impossible for a new user, which DP.News is, to gain that much negative rep in a short period of time - unless you inherit it from your past background, so it also gives us a clue)

That's not necessarily true, I don't see Shane's name on this list but I know he has been confirmed to play for quite some time. I'm really not sure how updated this player list is.

Could you please do yourself and the rest of us a favor? Ask someone to teach you how to edit a post. If you learn how to edit your post, you can update the first post in the thread which will not only get more views but also be easier to follow.
