Please post pics of Hoppe style cues

Marcus,

Do you still have that Wrapless titlist? I love it. Where did you get such a bright blank that could be kept wrapless?

the blank was 60+ years old, and a full 1 piece that had never been turned down. It was over 1.75" at the butt end when i found it.

It has been sold to a guy that has no plans of ever letting it go. It was built to be my player, but i am so accustomed to the steel joint that switching to the ivory wasn't gonna work.

The classic Hoppe style, four pointer is my favorite type of cue. Would love to see some pics of what's out there. Thanks in advance.

A Jensen cue I own, picture courtesy of our friend 8 Ball Rat. I have two extra shafts for a total of four. Cue can be for sale if the price is right.

SWEET!!! I WONDERED WHERE THAT CUE WENT. GOOD TO SEE THAT IT'S IN SUCH GOOD COMPANY!!!

It's cool to see that some of my "Frankenstein cloth" pictures are still floating around out there. I just came across some with my old 6-point BB cue on that very same cloth. Ahhhh, the memories!! :) :)

Here's my Hoppe-style cue.

A Jerry Rauenzahn Ebony Titlist tribute cue...hoppe-style back end...bumperless....and one hell of a sweet player, too!! It has a white with brown spec linen wrap on it now...but I didn't get to take any good pics of it before I left town.

The only half-way decent pic I have of the -R- cue now...but that will change in a few months, once I get back home.

Here's my new BCM (Bryan Mordt) Hoppe... Solid ivory joint, ferrules, Hoppe ring (which is bordered by two thin silver rings which really make it stand out). Bryan does great work!

Bryan does great work!

Yes, he sure does. I haven't seen a BCM cue that didn't look fantastic. Sweet cue, Steve!

Funny you should post yours right after I posted mine....considering I got mine from YOU!! :)

Hope you're doing well, sir. Looking forward to getting back to our "business as usual" soon!

Take care,

Mark

Hey Mark,

How's it going over there? Hope all is well! When you get back, I have a cue that you might have to put in your collection (pictured). I know you had a similiar cue, and this one is one of the best hitters I've ever played with from Mike Johnson. A real old timer with a gorgeous BEM forearm that doesn't show up well in my "professional quality pictures". One shaft has an ivory ferrule and one is LBM. When you find just the right Jensen, they are hard to beat!

Take care!

Steve

About to be in the works...

Here's a piece I'm gonna have Chris Nitti build for me, just as soon as I can start raising a bit of cash for it...
