Here is another cue that was made for a local player, With Elk Horn Rings, butt Cap and Joint, along with a kicken Cocobolo Butt!!

Here is another cue I made for a local customer, this is one of my favorites. This cue is a Brunswick 26 1/2 Pre-Titlist conversion cue, with a very nice Birdseye Maple Butt.

All of these cues are beatifull, but i have to ask.
What is your definition of a full spliced cue?
My definition: the wood from the but of the cue up to & including the points of the cue are one piece of wood.
Are we thinking the same thing?

Actually a Fullsplice cue is any cue where the wood in the points is a solid piece all the way to the cues butt. If the butt end is turned down and additional wood, or rings are added the cue is still fullspliced.

However, Fullspliced cues are truly even much more than that. The truest form of a Full Spliced cue that has been made in the USA in the last 100 years is the Brunswick 26 1/2 pre-Titlist and the Hoppe Titlist cues. These cues were made using a table saw set-up with a fence added not on a lathe, this technique is little used today, however, of late I have seen some cues that I suspect are being made that way. Cues made in this manner will have sharp points up and equally sharp points also going down. I have seen some Black Creek cues that look like they were made in this manner, but I am not sure. Cues that are wraped can easily be mistaken for full spliced cues, however, in most cases they are V-spliced, Milled or inlayed points even though they are sharp at the tips.

The cues made famous by Burton Spain that are being built by Hercek today are not true full spliced cues either, they are V-spliced cues that are again spliced to the cues handle in a separte technique.

Okay, does my cue look to be a true full splice? I was told when I bought it that it was, but I now want to make sure bc the same guy told me all 3 shafts have ivory ferrules and when I looked up close @ them after buying the 2 non-old growth shafts look like they have some sort of fiber ferrule.

The wrapless Alves cue is full splice.
