Look guys, if you are withing a 2 hour drive of central KY, the only question you should really be asking John is when is he available for lessons.
I may be in central KY, but I met John right here on AZB, which was fortunate for me. You can read about my initial visit with him here. Your game will thank you and he makes the experience fun. And it sure helps to be enjoying your experience, believe me.
And since John is too humble to bring up his accomplishments, I will be glad to do it for him. Multiple time DCC bank pool champion and DCC master of the table winner to boot (he ain't no one trick bank pool pony fellas!).
Take advantage ladies and gents. Not too many players of his caliber try to make themselves accessible to those who wish to learn.
Cheers and happy shooting,
JL

What's the best banking table?
Might as well start a new section.
Ask The Banker.![]()
Diamond...anymore questions? John B.
Diamond...anymore questions? John B.
Why did you say Diamond? Most feel that they bank short, so is it that you feel they are more consistent in their banking?
Good question..the way you worded that. Short compared to what?? Are you going to compare it your table or who's?? I can walk in anywhere that has Diamonds and it won't take me long to figure it out. I cannot say that about any other tables that I have played on.Every GC in the country plays different than the one right beside of it. What other kind of tables are they? John B.
The Diamonds at Breakers bank different than at Michael's which bank different than the new ones at Lacy's. So I don't understand how you can say that about GC's and not Diamonds.
I do think Diamonds are a better table overall.
There are different kind of diamond tables, i believe what he is referring to is the blue label (newest diamonds) all bank the same. Last time i was in Michaels they had the old diamond tables so of course they will bank different to the newer ones.
Iirc, all they have to do is have them updated from the old red label setup when the tables are redone.
its pretty sick how short you can pinch some banks on diamonds, i occasionally try some i think are impossible just to see....and sometimes they go lol.
