They look to be at least 4 and 1/2, maybe smaller, I don't think the pocket size has as much to do with the misses as the players just being out of their game. The last match where Rodney demolished Niels he didn't have any trouble running the tables. Dominant performance by Rodney.av84fun said:What are the pocket sizes??

If wooden or rubber pocket facings are used, this is complete crap, as they can and will make a pocket play a little unpredictable when attempting to make a ball, whereas the club I play in has 2x 3mm/4mm thick leather facings on their tables, that were cut from a sheet of leather, to the shape of the cushion rubber, after being glued onto the ends of each rubber, and boy the are still WPC tight, but they play accurate and true to the pocket's cut without any balls unpredictably jarring or bobbling back up again.
Just my 2 cents worth from experience.

Shelf depth has a lot to do with it as well, with deeper shelves obviously meaning more balls stay up if they don't hit the center of the pocket.

Tim5000 said:I would argue that. The pockets on my Brunswick are a little over 4.5" and they won't accept 2 balls at a time. That's Because you measure them at the points, but they get narrower the further back you go. Does that make any sense?
