this explains why pool is dieing a slow death, the distribution of ages are fairly even BUT.....alot more young people own/use computers and the 17-25 year old group should be alot higher because that demographic has alot higher use of coputers than the 40-50 group,
 
I'm new to this site and a brand new owner of a pool table. So I'm essentially a newbie to the game even though I spent many nights/pitchers around a table in college. But at 34, it's one of the things that my joints will tolerate me starting. I might have to ditch the Muay Thai. lol

When I make it to 39 I think I'll stay there as well.:D Or maybe I should stay at 37.

Very interesting results, I am 55 and never would have thought that my age is in the middle of the highest percentage bracket. Us cue nuts must be older, and the guys I've been buying from are all younger. Thanks all you kids, I've aquired some really nice cues & cases from AZB members, the younger of the bunch.

I was going to do a whole poll thing to go along with this message and after I typed it all up I decided that it had probably already been done and wasn't interesting enough to post so I just closed the window... Fast fordward a few hours later and I see that someone posted a thread similar to the one I was "thinking" about posting... and it was me. :o :eek:
