Or the billions ruined by itTell that to the billions of people helped by their faith or the billions helped by missionaries around the world.
"There are no atheists in foxholes".Or the billions ruined by it
Who/how would you punish anyone in a murder/suicide?So a murder/suicide goes absolutely unpunished?
What are you talking about? Between Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot and other commies Hundreds of millions were killed. Not religion related unless you want to admit that Marxism is faith based. And yet more people have been killed in the name of God than for any other reason![]()

You're making yourself look a fool...Rookie numbers
I went to HS in the early 80s. Back then, if you were a hunter, you could take your rifle or shotgun on the school bus and they would drop you off at a different bus stop after school to where you were hunting (parent note required). The rule was the ammo had to be separate and you dropped your gun off at the front office when you arrived at school.Believe or don't believe. There were no school shootings when I grew up. I even got permission to take a double barrel shotgun into English class for an English assignment. I did a demonstration on cleaning a shotgun. Try that today!
Yes it is. We live in a very sick world when anyone would take the life of others over a pool game let alone that of a 12 year old girl. I suspect there is more to it than that, but they were looking for trouble anyway. Pool was just the medium they were using to try and rob someone. When that didn't work, they decided to use guns. These were thugs and now they are killers. When will this insanity stop? In my opinion, the world is about to explode...literally. So much hate everywhere, including our governments and so called leaders.
That’s not belief. Hope and faith are two different things."There are no atheists in foxholes".
Its a funny thing how people who have never believed may suddenly start believing when facing death.
The Boy Scouts kept a list of known creepers that got out. That is what really lit the fuse on abuse charges against them.Anyone can claim anything. Proven cases are a very different number.
Many of the millions killed by those guys were targeted for elimination because of their religious ideologies. What are you talking about? Between Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot and other commies Hundreds of millions were killed. Not religion related unless you want to admit that Marxism is faith based.
Rational to believe in something for which there is absolutely no evidence?IT is much more rational to believe in God, than to believe that we are here from nothing, because of nothing.
Tell that to the billions of people helped by their faith or the billions helped by missionaries around the world.
Would you like a 4,000 word essay from a US Korean Atheist soldier who spent lots of time in foxholes ?"There are no atheists in foxholes".
I have faith there will be a judgement day.Who/how would you punish anyone in a murder/suicide?
And undeniably sleeping thru the futile, desperate prayers at Auschwitz, Dachau, Bergen-Belsen, Buchenwald, and all of the worldwide children's cancer wards.God dropped the ball on this one.
I'd just like to emphasize this comment and how accepting someone else's personal point of view on their gender mortifies you to the point that you equate an LGBTQ club (which sole purpose is to give a marginalized group of people a place to simply exist) to "random violence, rapes, bomb threats". That's rich.I tell my kids these stories and they just can't believe the way things used to be. Now they have random violence, rapes, bomb threats and LGBTQ clubs at school. What went wrong?
It’s just unfortunate that “pool hall” is in the headline of this tragic incident. There are those out there that will try to connect the two and use this as an argument against someone wishing to open a poolroom in certain communities. How very sad!!!
Apologies, it wasn't my intention to equate those. The point I was trying to make was none of those things previously took place in school, and in my opinion, specific to LGBTQ, don't belong in pre-college education. Apologies again for my poor choice in mixing examples.I'd just like to emphasize this comment and how accepting someone else's personal point of view on their gender mortifies you to the point that you equate an LGBTQ club (which sole purpose is to give a marginalized group of people a place to simply exist) to "random violence, rapes, bomb threats".
