sounds like you play pool well but you can't stop gambling when you're in a casino. nobody made you do anything man. you gotta learn to say no. if you're that addicted you shouldn't bother going to vegas anyway.

i got a friend that's in AA. that's what he does. he doesn't go to bars because he doesn't want to be tempted.

I seldom subscribe to a thread without posting in it but this time I made an exception. I wanted to continue reading the posts but it looks like the El KaBong has already laid down the law.


I guess there's no harm in posting in the thread. It looked like one of those fires in parts of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina and I've caught up on the last project from Hurricane Katrina. I would like to take this moment to thank everyone who has ever been involved in throwing a pool event in a casino. Thank you for supporting pool when no one else would.

Thank you to everyone in pool that makes any tourney's possible. Thank you league's for keeping pool halls open when the owners don't want to. And most of all thank the players for attending events in Vegas in May making sure pool is an asset to that city.

Pool should be thanking Casino's. I don't even understand how anyone could see it differently. I can go to Vegas and live for months and not bet one dime on anything.
