Positive experience with OB Cues

I just wanted to publicly thank OB Cues, Royce and Doc for a recent transaction I had with them. I live in a area where we don't have pool halls, where there is a cue shop to handle tips and repairs.

My tip on my OB 2 shaft fell off right after I got back from the Derby. If I would have noticed it was loose (or is that lose?:)), then I would have had it fixed at the Derby.

Without getting into details, I had a situation where my ferrule was now missing and I possibly may well have voided my warranty, due to the person that worked on the tip, did not put my carbon fiber pad back on.

I PM'ed Royce here and explained my situation. He was very understanding and blew me away when he said he would fix me up, if I paid the shipping.

After sending it in, Doc was great about calling me when he received the shaft, calling again when he was done with the shaft. I love that when a business does that. Doc also worked with me on getting my shaft back, in a expedited fashion.

I just wanted everyone to know, that OB Cues showed me that there are still a few businesses out there, that can provide a level of customer service that has almost became extinct, in the past couple of decades.

For that, I say thank you!

+1.
Just dropped by their shop today, and talked to Royce and Doc about some cue work, very professional as always.

+2. Royce is great and stands behind his products...which happen to be really good :).

+3 I have done business with OB-Cues also. They go the extra mile and then some. Johnnyt

+5 Always there to answer questions, and provide a great American made product. The latest equipment added to my arsenal is the OB Classic Pro which I similar to the OB 2 in size but it is stiffer and does not spend the cue ball as much as the OB 2. I love it so far. Banking balls a little better, too.

. Yes the wood ferrule has a pad. My pad fell off with the tip and I had my tip guy put a tip on. He didn't know of the pad and wood ferrule crumbled like a chocolate chip cookie first time out. Sent shaft to OB and they made it right, no cost!!! They do stand behind their product.

+6 I made a trade with someone who happen to have a deal with Royce, We had an issue with shipping, Royce was all over it when I had questions, even though they went threw a third party.
I was always informed about when my cue was expected to be done and when it was sent.
I LOVE my OB BREAK and recommend it to everyone.

I worked in customer service for many years and when you are used to giving great service you know when you are receiving it and when you are getting the shaft.

Royce also does alot for pool, that is something I also say THANK YOU for.

No Doubt, OB-cues is a top tier company. I recently special ordered a shaft from them and received it within days.
Thank you OB-Cues, for making a superior product with great customer service.

I agree, good people run that company

My new ob shaft has a great hit, and the owners were very nice at the SBE. They even let people hit balls with cues from other companies on their demo table without even a cross look, totally professional.

Besides supporting pool they sound like they stand behind their product . Heard good things about them and appreciate that they have supported some streams.

Just a question though , isn't Mueller products about 50 miles away in Lincoln ? Think Ryan from RAT cues does some of their repair work . Might be an out for you next time .Pretty sure they sell OB shafts .
