Sunday certainly cannot count no matter what but the real question is was it BIH and after the break as has been reported here?

18 racks run

That is insane!!I have never heard of someone running 18 racks like that. Even with ball in hand at the opening that has to be a rare feat.

playing the ghost

the format is like the ghost to 9, ball in hand after the break, point totals of balls made with players rotating at the table.

I've heard of Keith McCready breaking and running out 21 racks in a row back in the day. I think Keith mentioned that in an interview with TAR a while back.

It a 9ball ghost turni best of 10 racks.Last night Stoney scored a perfect score.Broke and ran 10 racks of 9ball,ball in hand after the break.

Thorsten had 20 something 9ball break and runs and 26 b & r's in 8 ball. Both feats on 9fters with witnesses in Germany. This is in addition to his 404 ball high run in straight pool.

Seems like a little confusion here. "Ghost" 9 ball with ball in hand after the break is not nearly the same as a Break and Run.

18 straight against the ghost is mighty strong but no where near 18 break and runs. I would expect top players like Thorsten, Mika, Corey and several filipinos could certainly hit 20 in a row against the ghost.

As I stated, thorsten's were break and runs without ball in hand after the break. I couldn't imagine how many h could run against the ghost. Just scary.

Show me how easy this is!!

With BIH it's barely impressive.

Please post of video of yourself doing this barely impressive feat of running 18 racks in a row playing the 9 ball ghost for me if you can.Not trying to start sh*t so don't start bashing. Just want to see you do this if it is so easy. Please do not start going off.If this is child's play for you much respect and nevermind my comment on how hard this is for us non-professional players. Please post your video asap so I may learn something and thank you for your time.I look forward to seeing you run 18 racks in a row very soon if it is at all possible.Congrats to Stoney Stone on this accomplishment well played.

I am just curious what size table this was done on. I have seen this same format at 4 different rooms and they were all done on 8 foot tables.

haha, I see abe got red-repped to death, prolly for this. I don't think he meant any harm, he just didn't understand that 18 in a row vs. the ghost is not quite the same.

It's still VERY VERY strong. I've heard lots of stories of people getting 20+ B&R (even in front of witnesses) but I'd really like to see this on video. I've only ever seen half of that on video.

18 in a row vs. the ghost should be possible to get on the tape for the pros. Not too long ago there was a stream of scott frost doing 10b vs. the ghost, I think he didn't get out only like twice in 20 racks. Obviously 7ish in a row is not the same as 18 but I think on a good day it's something he could do. *On a barbox

Maybe this would be a fun project for john schmidt, instead of videotaping his next 250+ straight pool run?
