Mottey AND White Cue

...post your photos of Mottey and white cues...

I own a 4pt / 4 veneer Ambryo Burl into Birdseye Maple with Ivory joints and more than 50 Ivory inlays. It’s 19.1oz; 58in; Lizard Lea wrap; made in 2001 and retailed in the high $3k’s. It plays like player cue, but is truly collectable. Excellent condition. I don’t play it at all anymore – offers? John@FullHousePro.com
Story: Beat a moap out on the East Coast. This was 'part' of the take.

Here are 2 JMW I have had made. They are both made from Prather FS blanks that I ordered and then sent to James. His cues are the equal to any I have ever owned. It was a pleasure to deal with him on both cues. My only regret is selling the Ebony one...

Mottey pics

Here are some pictures of Paul hitting balls on his shop table and 2 of my favorite Mottey cues that I used to own (I wish I still owned them!).

Kind of plain jane but terrific cues.
The 5 pt. snakewood cue was my player for quite a while
The tulipwood Hoppe is one of the most lively hitting cues i've ever seen.

I purchased a couple from friends, one on AZ, and a couple of trades.

now that he's retired. Any idea how many cues paul built?
towards the end there where less cues per year ill guess in the earlier years 75 to 100 per year thats a guess i was never told anything to that effect. Pauls cues have always been in demand

my daily player

This cue is dated the day I turned 50.

The Centennial case used to belong to Diamond Bill Cress of
Pleasant Hill, PA ... a suburb of Pittsburgh. I grew up outside
of Pittsburgh, so I wanted my birthday cue to be made by a
Pittsburgh cue maker.

Paul did not have the scrimshaw work done when he shipped me
me the cue, so he sent the joint protector to me to mark it where
I wanted it to align.

I marked it to align with his signature, which made sense to me.

He told me that he had wished I had never talked him into that
joint protector and he would never make another one like it.

Now that he is retired, the above statement has proven true.

This cue is also allergic to any game that is not one pocket.
