Don asked me to let everyone know that he will not be attending the show next week. He had a massive heart attack a couple days ago and is going to have a bypass surgery tommorow. I don't have too many more details right now but I will keep everyone updated as I do.

Lets keep Don in our prayers that he makes a speedy recovery, he is one of the good guys for sure.

Get well buddy, I'll be thinking about you.

Update -- As of 4/2/13 Don is still waiting for his surgery at hospital, I will keep you updated when I hear anything new.

Update -- As of 4/8/13 Don is on his way home. His surgery has been postponed till the end of the month.

Since Don is going to miss the show and this is going to be a financial burden to his family, If anyone would like to contribute to help Don with his medical bills and family stability it would be greatly appreciated.
You can send it to my Paypal and I will be sure that Don gets it ASAP.
Thank you

Best wishes to Don and his family. He is always good for a few stories and laughs at the Classic. I will keep him in my thoughts.

Don we pray a speedy recovery for you in Jesus name!
Living He loved us, dying He saved us, buried He carried our sins far away, rising He justified, freed us forever, one He's coming back, oooh what a glorious day !!!
Happy resurrection Son-Day!!!

WOW!! I just talked to Don a month ago. He ended up buying a shaft I had for sale and the deal was flawless. Don is one of the good guys for sure and this sport needs more like him.

I had the opportunity to meet Don at the 2012 DCC. We talked for a long time then and we did the same thing at the 2013 DCC. Real easy to talk to and it was an education for me.

I sure hope he recovers to make the DCC in 2014. I look forward to seeing him and his load of awesome cues.

Bryan Roberts, Matt Bell, and, myself wish Don all the best and a speedy recovery!!!

I wish Don a speedy recovery. I bought a Szamboti shaft from Don a few months ago and he sent me two to try and pick which one I liked. Truly a gentleman.

Sent a little something to your paypal for Don. It isn't much and I wish I could do more.

Don is definitely one of the good guys. My thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family at this time. A medical emergency such as this one serves to remind all of us just what it is about life that is really important.
Best wishes for a full, speedy recovery,
Joe

One of the biggest characters in the game. No show is complete without Don's presence. Hope the op is a success and you make a speedy recovery big guy.
