If you use Kamuim, you should!! Buddy of mine found two pieces of Kamui last week left in a pool room!!
People like Gadgets, and Labor Saving Devices. Come to my house, and you will see ever dam kitchen gadget the other half bought. She needs all these gizmos to cook, or boil water.
Someone even owns on of these do it all Knives BELOW, does a lot of stuff....Nothing Very Well, but has many Tools.
Mueller, PoolDawgs, CueSights, Web-site has how many tool and gadgets for Pool Player. Why there are on their web-sites is because they sell.
Octagon will fit in squares and easier to remove.
Its just chalk and I don't mean that in a bad way.
Predator been in pool for quite a long time now, I'm more surprised that they haven't put thier name on a cube of chalk until just now.
At least they didn't just put a sticker on a cube of masters. As long as it only has the 'normal' predator overpricing and not something stupid like kamui then I don't see all the (negative) fuss.

I like the octagonal shape. I'll try it, as long as the price is "in line".

I don't think Predators are overpriced. They deliver, so they demand top dollar. Fair do's.

Master and triangle and blue diamond, my 2 cents came from just one company, its just the blue diamond is a higher end chalk with a different mix
we do have a lot of triangle chalks, i dont know from where did they got it??

Making a six sided chalk holder out of leather is a walk in the park... making a mold for vinyl is easy too.
What is wrong with another choice of chalk or pool related products. Really everyone thinks it all starts with the tip. Sorry if your tip is not chalked what good is it .
Also china is copying everything as fast as they can, very smart of Predator to change the shape of the chalk.
