Predator chalk new!!! new!!! new!!!

OK, I am skeptical. Karim Belhaj has related stories to me where he walks into retailers in Asia and finds they sell Predator cloth. But Predator does not make cloth. Someone is just stealing his name and logo.

I am not saying this is not made by Predator. I do not know. But until Predator puts out a press release I remain skeptical.
I saw one of the Predator pros with a prototype of this chalk a while back. Don't know any details but I do believe it is from Predator

are some of you guys saying, you can not tell the difference between masters and blue diamond chalk?

I can tell in the difference in how it feels when applied to the tip. No difference in how I play.

There would be a difference in how it feels if Mike Tyson hits you, and if Sugar Ray hits you. The outcome is the same.

I've never used Blue Diamond. But, to be honest, I can tell the difference between Masters Geen & Tan. I use extreme English! on many shots & the Green is pretty good but I miscue once & awhile with it. I hardly ever miscue with the Tan. (I do occasionally) You can even feel the difference when you are chalking the tip It just feels different. Now before anyone 'asks', I use green on my home table with Green cloth & I use the tan when I go out.

PS You're avitar has 'great bottom english'. No offense meant if that's your mother.

They're just following the iPhone 5 model... So that everyone has to order Predator's $50 chalk holders.

HI Mike, Have you tried it personally and are you willing to tell what you think of it compared to other chalks or the holy grail known as Kamui chalk? PM if you prefer!!

I haven't had a chance to test it out yet. We literally just got it in today, so we wanted to get it up and available as soon as possible. Once we have an idea what demand is going to look like for the chalk, we'll pull some out of stock and let the folks here in the office give it a test drive.

I'll work on a way to present relevant facts more objectively. The truth is that I really do like this chalk and I feel it's priced competitively enough to become the standard chalk in the industry soon.

How much lead ?
Lead compounds are used as coloring agents for numerous products. Two cases of children with elevated blood lead concentrations encountered by the authors suggested that pool cue chalk may serve as a source of environmental lead. The objective of this study was to determine lead content of various brands and colors of pool cue chalk. Atomic absorption analyses were conducted of 23 different types of pool cue chalk for lead content. Three of 23 types of pool cue chalk contained more than 7000 ppm (mg/kg) lead: one manufacturer's green and tangerine chalk and another manufacturer's green chalk. It was concluded that some brands of pool cue chalk contain relatively large amounts of lead and could contribute to childhood lead poisoning.

It`s softer than Blue Diamond, but not as soft and powder like as Kamui chalk.
The price is good for the quality. Stupid with the octagonal design, it wan`t fit my chalk holder.

I have had the chance to try some recently. Yeah, it doesn't fit my holder either. Darn.

I wouldn't say it's better than BD and I will alway like my Pre Flag. I better, I have snuff to last almost two life times.

It does apply nicely and stays on the tip like BD a and the Pre Flag.

For the money, it's very much worth it. Much better than Master by several country miles.

Lets talk tips and chalk.
I had only one shaft and it had an Ultra skin tip on it. I used masters chalk and would miss cue more then I felt was normal.
I recently bought a second shaft and it came with an Everett tip. I decided to use nothing but Triangle chalk on this one. Now the miscues are gone. And I mean gone. ??????????????????????????????????????????????????

I like the chalk I was able to fit it into a chalk holder ImageUploadedByTapatalk1367889048.316379.jpg

Also sticks to my jump cue very very well. I happen to have a few jump shots come up in the past few days no miscues at all made really good contact with object ball. But the chalk did not help them go in. It's outstanding chalk
