Preference between Ball Return or Pockets?

Glen, you are right again, however one that plays 3-cushion billiards would not be looking at a Diamond.

You never really know, stranger things have happened before, who would have ever thought Diamond would come up with the ultimate coin operated pool table? Who would have ever thought someone could challenge the "Valley" strangle hold:D All it takes is a little knowledge and little direction;)

Glen knows his stuff. If I was looking for table advice, he's at the top of my list of people to call. He set up my table and did an amazing job of it.

Hey Joe:D you get over being sick yet?...or did you get sick because we were going to play a little 9ball;) :D J/K...LOL I'll be back in the LA area again later next week delivering some more tables...what's your schedule like?
 
i agree that diamonds have the best return system out there. I couldn't believe how fast it was the first time I played on a 9' pro.

still.. i personally like drop pockets and don't understand why anyone would want a ball return in their home.
 
I prefer drop pockets. Ball return systems can be loud sometimes, they can spit balls out the gully, balls can get stuck etc etc etc.... Not all mind you, but Ive seen enough to alter my opinion.

diamond returns are the triple nuts, they are fast you'll never wait for a ball and they arnt loud. its impossible to build a better return
 
The sound of a real poolroom is walking in to a room with about twenty or more old Brunswick's with the old coal-chute type returns. It sounds like your in the NY Subway. Now that's a poolroom. Johnnyt
 
Of the 6 pool halls within a 20mile radius of my house not one has ball returns. All drop pockets, and ive never heard a complaint. I can see arguments for both sides but for me its always gonna be drop pockets. I just bought a metro tournament edition and its drop pocket, and i wouldnt have it any other way.

Hahaha, never sick of nine ball, my friend :)
I had the flu pretty bad. Too much traveling.
I'll give you a call later in the week.

I like the loud SMACK when it hits the box. When I pot a ball I want the whole production!:D
