They are playing this weekend, figured I would let you guys (and girls) claw at each other if anyone ends up liking Price

I honestly don't believe anyone here would like Larry's end of it. Is it an ahead set or race? How much, this will make a big difference with Bartrums game?

Right.

Unless Chris gives up a big spot or games on the wire, Price has little hope.
In banks though, I would give the edge to Price.

I don't think the game is that far out of line. In fact, I like Larry. I have seen Larry beat some great players in the last year. I know that he beat Pickle on the bar table recently, and he knocked off a great shortstop here in Chattanooga several months ago giving a little weight. And I'm sure most on here know that he won the Derby City Banks division several years ago.

I don't care about side-betting a match if I'm not there to watch it, so don't bombard me with gambling offers. And I think, at least for me, it's too close to bet alot of money on anyway.

I'd love to be there to sweat it. These are 2 great road warriors, and I believe it will be a grind to the finish.

I'm with Mr. Templeton here....don't be too quick to dismiss Larry on the barbox. He's somewhat a barbox specialist.;)

Did any of you folks hear Chris talk about getting the last two as he did the commentating on the Danny H. and John S. bout?? I found it absolutly fascinating. Who sez the last two is nothin?.....

Larry is tough.

GREAT banks player. Saw him and Louis Demarco playing recently. Larry beat him pretty badly.

Personally, I'd take Larry with a little weight, but he still plays really really tough bar table pool.

I almost said the exact same thing, but was worried about knocking Price, since obviously some don't know him. I am sure Bartrum wouldn't play him banks though.

My personal line, not an offer - though I will take Bartrum even- is Larry needs 2 going to 11, 4 to 20, maybe more going to 30. It is on a box though and either could string too many together to let the other player in it without doing the same.

Without wanting to bet, I kinda like Larrys end. The guy rarely gets outta line when gambling. He's just one of those guys that's a winner. I say close match but Larry pulls it out.

I like that quote so much that I may someday add that in the place where my signature (is that what's it's called) goes on the bottom of my posts.

I like to give "scouting reports" without knocking anyone's action. And that is sometimes a fine line.

But I'm with Mike and the others who voiced the same sentiments. I hate being asked to bet it up on the internet.

I like Chris on a bar table against alot of people.... I don't know who the other guy is...

Chris's bar table game is very strong compared to his big table game... IMO

There game is 10 ahead for 10G. even. I don't feel that would be a long race on a bar box where a number of games can be strung together quickly. Larry plays very well especially if the pockets aren't very tight. Bartram plays very well on a bar box also although many may not know it. He beat Keith M. and Little John playing Captain in a eight ahead race on a bar box giving them the 7 at the DCC 2 or 3 years ago. Larry and Chris played once before and Larry won by the way.

Anyone who thinks Price has little hope on a bartable , I would venture to say knows nothing about pool. I would say this would be a 50- 50 game. Larry plays awful good for the money and doesn't play any game he has no chance. And OF COURSE he has the best of it playing bank
