What happens if you get your opponent on 2 fouls, and you have ball in hand behind the line, and you don't like the shot?
You can pass the shot back to them. If they fail to hit the ball or foul again, you can make them shoot again.

call any of the players on the list and they'll verify my information.
Kicking is a silly part of the game, and it was never intended to be part of 9 Ball.
Efren and the other filipinos don't play One Foul playing rotation so they still shoot spot shots and the need for kicking to prevent "ball in hand" isn't part of their game either.
Kicking does involve skill, but there's still a lot of luck in it. The champions kick to hit one side of the ball with speed to separate or put one ball on an end rail....this is the general "rule of thumb".
By the way, the famous kick Efren made would never have come up if I had won against Earl the previous match.....and it could have gone either way.
Why?

10 Ball rules are even worse because they effectively eliminate the "two way shots," which are arguably the most exciting and interesting type of shot in pocket billiards. The game of 'One Pocket' is full of two way shot opportunities, however, the two way shots in 'Two Shot Shoot Out' are more difficult to execute on average.
It might not be too bad, if you had something new to say, but the repetitious, self-glorification, is rampant, and unbearable for the average forum member !..Thus, YOU have 'single handedly' swollen the ranks of 'the hater's', and have driven thousands to seek other pool forums !

Seriously? Guess you can also take credit for Efrens kick because if you had been there, the brackets would have been different, and the game might never have happened at all.
Read it again, he's actually taking partial credit for Efrens kick shot because he was a loser the match before it.

... This thread is approaching 1000 posts, and without counting, I would feel quite safe in betting, over 500 are YOURS ! ...
No need to count, SJD, and you would lose that bet.

Two Shot Shoot Out is definately 10 times more interesting to watch, and there's some Texas streamers that may put on such an event. I could write a 200 page book on how to play "Shoot Out" and it would only take a half a page to describe how to play "One Foul".
Anyone that's played both will agree at some level with this statement. There's really not much strategy playing "One Foul" and there's no other sport that has a "Ball in Hand" rule and it would be equally silly in golf, tennis, football, baseball, hockey, etc......I believe it's a HUGE mistake to endorse a game that you can win on a safety (to get "ball in hand" for an easy run out and not have to make a critical shot), and not have to make the necessary shots. With the lack of popularity of pool in the last 13 years I'm under the impression that most people would agree.....they just may not know why.
Tichie Ambroaw qas Mt 9 Blla playing two shot, When they changed to the one foul, he was just anothter 9 ball player. Dj has played and I doubt Chriss eer played that way. IF CJ oulds put in some time, I qwould rake a ticket on CJ!

Moreover, if someone uses the multi-quote or responds five times what's the difference?
Who cares if he has his video info at the bottom of his posts. People that sell stuff have that, and people who don't list every piece of equipment they use at the bottom of their posts. He's not making anyone buy anything.
It sounds like SJD has been around pool a while and feels that gives him just as much weight in an argument as someone who has won championships.
