Prulhiere Cues...buyer beware

hush

Brian in my opinion i think it would be best not to reply....you seem to me to be shooting yourself in the foot.....kinda seems to me you should be calling yourself Dale Perry west

So let's see if you can answer these questions Brian Prulhiere, a simple yes or no will suffice.

Are you going to issue me a refund?

Are you going to issue Texasguy4 a refund?

^ you know you really do have quite the nerve. You are the one that was attempting to blackmail Brian aren't you? I understand your issues, but did you ever ask about the construction of the cue before hand? I'm doubting it.. As buyers, I think it is just as much our responsibility to gather information about our purchase as it is for the cuemaker to tell us. You wan't a refund after you said you would keep the cue? You want money and the cue? You try to blackmail someone, and when it doesn't work you cry more? You had a problem with construction, that's fine...you could of discussed it with him before ravaging on like a 12 year old that got the wrong toy from a gumball machine. You, really do not deserve anything simply because of your outlook/ attitude. Maybe if you were a little bit more adult-like this thing could of been handled a lot better. Need I go in to JFK's speech about consumers from the 60's?

I do think the question needs to be asked in reference to Texasguy4. But as I said previously, I whole heartedly believe it will be delt with properly. (Granted, I know with the time that has elapsed it doesn't seem likely, but have some faith in a good person)

Anyway, the irrational comments should stop.

Btw: I really hate being the only person to stand up and vouch for somebody. There's more supporters for Brian out there than it currently seems, people just don't want to get involved.

I said I did not want the cue and he told me I could kiss his ass because he's upset I exposed him. Frankly I'm embarrassed to even take this out in public so I'm stuck with a pos cue because he got butt hurt? He can say whatever he wants about me, I could care less, I'm the customer not the cue maker. I am not satisfied with the product I received - bottom line.

He has plenty to say on this thread but can't answer a simple yes or no question.

I will answer your question. The answer is NO. I will do whatever I can to help out Texasguy. He didn't spend every waking moment seeing what else he could come up with to throw at me. Your misleading crap is getting old. I did say what you posted, I admit that. Not til after you posted this crap and then told me you would take it down if I met your demands. I do not care what anyone else posts on this over me making a good or bad decision on how to handle you. They do not know any of the stuff that has gone between us in emails. Only posting what I said paints a totally different picture of what actually transpired. You call me a POS and tell me where I can put the cue? Why didn't you simply email me and say "Brian, I am not happy with this cue." That is how adults handle this sort of thing. I would have said I am sorry and paypal'd you the money as soon as I got the cue. You do not get on here, post a bunch of half truths, tell me in an email your goal is to ruin me, and then say "I want my money." You have already cost me 4 orders. There will probably be more to follow. So you got what you told me you wanted already.

Thank you for the wonderful experience Mr. Prulhiere. I'm sure this will cost you a lot more orders once this gets out further than this forum. I never called you a pos or told you where to put the cue, I just called the cue you made a pos.

I will post more pictures once I get my hands on a band saw.

What's wrong with a regular saw? Don't make excuses son.

Before you rip it in half, contact me. I have two long time cuemakers that I would like examine the cue, then we will rip it in half.

I will pay you to ship it to me.

So pathetic. You say it isn't entertainment to you. You just want to take this to the next step Tony. This wasn't your deal, but for some reason you want to do anything in your power to try to damage me further. It is sad to think people really live their life like that. I don't say this to try to belittle you, but take a serious look at what your real motives are here. Have fun taking it apart.

Hey, I want to know where you get the McDermott rubber bumpers from?

Honestly. They used to make this cheap cue called NITRO. When I started out learning about cues, I didn't build a shaft. I bought a crap ton of them for like 25 bucks a pop and the shafts were pretty good. I made some plane janes and sold them around my home town at the pool halls. I ended up with a lot of butts laying around, and no one wanted them with out a shaft, so I started tearing them down and salvaging pins bumpers and other parts. I didn't see a problem with modifying and using the bumpers. I still have some of those bumpers to this day. Tony, I will answer pretty much anything if you use a mature approach.

You don't see a problem using another cues proprietary bumper, modifying it (does that mean cutting out their trademark and replacing it with a cork plug) then putting it on your cue?

I didn't. It was altered so much. A couple of other people asked me the same question about them and it made me think about it. I was learning. We are all always learning. Will you stop trying to corner me at every turn.

PM sent. I don't think this guy knows how vast the internet is, he's really going to get exposed now...

Then why are you still selling cues with it a few months ago on ebay?

Didn't you post that you started building cues 10 years ago? I would have thought you would have learned right from wrong long before that.

enough. What are you trying to prove to everyone? I used them. Hired Guns, You just sound smarter every minute. Do what you want guys. Cut one up, x-ray it, send it to area 51. I don't care. This was a fun hobby, but the thought of it now makes me sick. Tony, give it a rest. You made your point and I will not post another cue on here. With that said, what more do you feel like you need to accomplish? I don't owe you anything. You don't have one of my cues. Just drop it. You made your point clear. I have made some veneer cues. I have chopped up junk cues and used the parts. I do not use Chinese cues. I have done a lot of stuff along the way that may not be the best way. I did my best at this and NEVER set out to intentionally screw anyone.

You screwed me out of my money because I called you out on your techniques.

I bought a custom ordered sneaky 4 point from Brian back in Dec. Got it in May/June. He took some liberties in areas of making the cue that I had preferred he didn't do. Namely staining the wood. All in all this is a cue that plays decent and might sell on EBay for what I paid for it?

I just wanted to support someone who I thought was a new cue maker. Just to throw an order his way.

No PM bashing please.

Jim

"help out Texasguy"....you make it sound like your giving me charity or something
How about “ I’ll refund the money he paid me”

Personally, I think you might have overpaid for what you got. That said you may be able to sell it used for the same price as new.

Do you mind telling us what you paid for it? If you don't I understand.

Hey Tony, give me an email address and I will forward over my excel file that tracks all of my sales. I will also give you a list of any and all supplies I have purchased. Think that will be enough info? Will that save you some trouble? That way you can easily determine who over paid. Now you just seem to be acting obsessed dude.
