QueenB: Rematch at Q-Master

You know.
Neither OMGWTF or Borana started the thread bs the last time. It was JimM.

IIRC, the last time, It all started when someone asked Borana's speed, and that somehow morphed into JimM offering to stake her for $500 if the game was right, and OMGWTF was the first one to step up.

It's not like OMGWTF dictated the details of the when and where.
The only thing she did was jack the bet up from $500 to $2k, but the details were figured out by BOTH of them as they were BOTH going to be in Vegas.

So as far as Borana flying out to accomodate OMGWTF the last time, that's really not an accurate portrayal of what happened.
Sure, she got on a plane, but it's not like she had never planned on that to begin with, and only did it because of OMGWTF.
It was well known that she was already going to be in Vegas and i'm pretty sure that Vegas was chosen as a matter of convenience because they were both going to be there anyway.

I can only think that OMGWTF mentioning the U.S. Open as a place to have a rematch, was also taking the fact that JimM already stated that he would be putting Borana and Nes in the tournament, so it was probably ALSO done with the matter of convenience in mind, otherwise, why pick a place you know someone is going to be at in the first place.

As for any comments about fans, despite Borana saying that she isn't doing it for the fans which may well be true, lets make no mistake about it.
If it weren't for the fans and the non-fans pumping the S#!T out of that other thread wondering about her speed, hungry for some action, JimM might have never made the offer to put her in the game, and the match might never have happened.
Believe me, the fans played an integral part in that last match taking place.

And as far as quitting winners and NITS.
Everyone can just save that whole gambling etiquette bull$#it.
There are no laws as far as gambling is concerned.
Quit whenever the hell you want and make no apologies for it.

I have not read most of the posts in this thread, so forgive me if what I am saying is out of date or inappropriate. I have just spoken with Pat Fleming of Accu-Stats. He would be happy to have this match in his studio at Breakers Billiards in New Jersey at anytime on or after October 29th. Until then he is tied up with the US Open.

If our two heroines wish to have this streamed on both Accu-Stats and AZBilliards in a neutral location and with great stream quality, it is now available. If you ladies are interested you may contact me at jerry@azbilliards.com.

Awesome offer by Pat.
Don't discount those fans yet.

Very cool idea. Pat's stream is very high quality & the arena is a great place to hold the match.

For what it's worth, I'll second that.

"You gotta' play until somebody is broke" is a loser's mentality.

I apologize if some people took offense to my reply. I was just upset because we have each others emails and phone numbers and if she wants to play me, she should contact me herself first instead of just posting online what the game is and where I should play her, basically putting me on the spot.

And no I am not doing this for the "fans". I did not play her for any of that. I have learned that in order to improve my game, I have to stop caring about what people think. She called me out he first time and I went and played her without caring about anything.

Anytime Melinda wants to play, just come to New York anytime she wants and I will play her. It doesn't have to be streamed. So lets end this comments about "fans" and "attention" and "beauty peagents" please.

Thank You

Well, duh. Somewhat obviously you're not doing it for the fans and all I'm saying is that that is a mistake. You can be a good looking player on the women's side, or you can be a good looking player on the women's side with gamble and let your fans (of which you have many here) enjoy that part of your pool persona.

Marketing wise, your last match drew a lot of attention to you and OMGWTF. Frankly, I had no clue who you were before that little tiff and am not particularly revved up one way or the other on whether this goes off. All I'm saying is that from a professional PR and marketing point of view, you're missing a swell opportunity here AND making a big mistake with the implication that unless you're selling something, your participation here (the BS threads reference) is beneath you or not worth your time. I'm not saying that's how you meant it, but it certainly can be taken that way :-)

Man, you guys need to get off her nuts... She said she couldn't play that day because she has to work.. what more do you need to know?

And if she wants to play in private without the whole circus act so what, it's her prerogative. She's a big girl and can do whatever she wants... she doesn't have to play pool to please anyone other than herself.

Borana can also sell copies of "Borana and Nes" as well to the sweaters...how much is it?

That would be awesome. :)
Make it like the player review 14.1 matches Pat is doing and it would be awesome-er.

Wow. Who wouldn't want a long match filmed by Accustats of themselves. We know how bad Donny Mills wanted it. Wonder if the players could make some cash out of the deal. If so Borana might understand why you want good public relations a little better. Also why it might be okay to make an offer publicly. Borana clearly said Melinda should NOT have come public with the match offer? Why? Did she ask Melinda not to beforehand? I can think of many reasons why she actually should make the offer public though.

I got no dog in this fight, but...

If your gonna be a pool player, better have a thick skin and short memory. (or something like that).

I read no malice in any posts by either. and I don't see much wrong with negotiating on the internet, although it does invite some extraneous 'noise'.

If you want to play - play. If not - don't. I'd think pool could use some excitement, and this seems to generate a little buzz...

Self-promotion - when done tastefully -- can be very profitable.

Player review is a little to friendly for a $4k gamble.

I was just kidding... but you can't deny it would be fun!

Anyway, I love watching these matches... so I would love it to be streamed (even if that usually means staying up all night due to the time difference :boring2:). And I love accu-stats streams too.

Of course, what I love means nothing and everything is, ultimately, up to the players to agree upon. :o

Nice move "once again" Jerry.:thumbup2: Hope this works out!

Can we leave these two B players alone and let them gamble amongst themselves?

Flame account alert. Whatever douche this is, show yourself. If this isn't a flame account, then it's a very ignorant thing to say for your FIRST post on AzB.

whats so bad about this post?they are b players at best they have proven that much in the last match, did u watch it,these girls are no where near the top in the sport.they play good pool not great, yet.

well if it happens I hope we know when so I can take time off of work because it will probably take another 9-1/2 hours to race to 21. Which is funny because if it was me and a friend racing to 21 for 4k and it took us that long we would be getting ripped to shreds by everyone but when it's 2 good looking girls, It's because they are tired and they are "playing really well". Since it was 2 good looking girls however.... it was a good match last time guys and this one will be so much more exciting for the whole 10 hours it takes to play out.....

and here comes all the guys defending the awful display of pool that took place in the last race.

Not that these girls can't play well they just didn't last time.
