R.I.P. Dick Abbott

I'll miss Dick's collectible cue site as well as him showing up at an occasional tournament with cues for sale. I have a nice Scruggs Titlist conversion from Dick. Very nice guy, knowledgeable too.

Shocked and saddened to see this tragic news about Dick.
We worked together intermittently for the better part of 20 years on billiard genre activity.
Always a hard worker, very friendly and dependable. I liked him a lot.

Dick, May you rest in gentle peace forever, held in God’s loving hands.

I cannot say anything more eloquently than Will Prout except to say Rest In Peace Dick.

Rest in peace

I am very sad to hear of his passing. He really was one of the good guys in the billiard industry.

Sorry for the loss of your friend. Condolences to all his friends and family.

PS In an RIP thread, it's often a good idea to write a few sentences about who he was in our sport. That way, even those of us who did not know him can appreciate his legacy.
