Hi,

Here a is a cue I just finished in my shop.

My good friend Terry Nixon (AKA Rack Runner) has been spending some time in my shop.Terry has a lot of cue knowledge and has owned a ton of very large cues over that last 30 years and IMO he has great taste and appreciation of cue design. He ordered this full splice blank from John with a traditional Titelist veneer stack and also picked out the wood turning blanks. He created the inlay design criteria and I did the geometries and execution of Terry's vision on this cue. All my customers also love to be a part of their cue design from the beginning of the process.

Terry will also be brokering this cue and other Esoterics in the future.

This is the first John Davis Blank I have worked with as a CM and John's FS Blanks are awesome things of beauty.

Congrats to you both, you produced an excellent result. Terry's a high quality individual and I'm sure he relished the experience. He was clearly in good hands, as were you, Rick.
Well done!

Let me start by saying thank you to Rick for opening up his shop, and his willingness to teach me. I've been buying/selling/collecting cues since 1982. I've been fascinated with cue construction from day one. In my experience it's very hard to find a magician willing to teach you how to pull a rabbit out of a hat. I finally found that magician! He has embraced me as a student while also letting me take the lead in the design aspect of the cues we build together. I have a lot of designs I'm looking forward to bringing to fruition. Thanks again Rick, and thank you all for the kind words. Especially you Chris, it means a great deal!

Congrats on a awesome looking cue.
Terry looks like you are well on your way to becoming a great cue maker.
Keep up the passion.

Thanks Troy. It's been a long time coming, and it feels good to finally be able to follow the dream.
